Soccer Tournament...

Cooper played in his first soccer tournament today. And unfortunately, you don't make it to day two when you are 0-3 on day one.  Sadly, Cooper didn't quite understand how it works and was disappointed to hear his team wouldn't be playing in the finals on Sunday.  He didn't get the concept that you actually have to win a game, or two, or three to move on to the semi-finals/finals.  He's still our baby...it's never fun to lose...he will learn...he was over it and onto something else within an hour.

Homecoming Week...

This week was Homecoming week at school , which means "dress up" week. I hate dress up, Anna Lauren pretends to like it, and Cooper loves it!

Monday was western day...anyone that knows Cooper knows he was most excited about this day!!!

His teacher sent me this picture and said, yes...I did!  Cooper was so proud of his mustache...was the first thing he told me about when I picked him up Monday afternoon.

Kindergarten is exhausting...once this little guy gets home and gets still, he falls sound asleep.  Sometimes as early as 5:30/6:00.

Tuesday was twin day...since Anna Lauren and McKenna are not in the same class this year, I agreed to pick McKenna up for school so they could at least walk into school together.

This cutie couldn't wait to get to his classroom to see his twin...

I may be biased, but I'm pretty sure they were the cutest twins in kindergarten.  Cooper's smile and hair...really...could he be any cuter!

Wednesday was dots and stripes day...

Love when my favorite big girl sends me pictures...just a day in the life of PT students...

After school Wednesday, the kids had a dentist appointment...this cute thing put on a show for the new dental hygienist, who was eating him up!

He told her that light was too bright, and he really needed some sunglasses.  Yes, she went and got her Ray Bans out of her purse and put them on him.  He is too cute to tell no!!!

Thursday was neon/color run day...and yes, they are eating a popsicle for breakfast.  Don't judge...they are smiling aren't they?

This boy...he truly is "awesome"...such a super fun kid!!!

You have heard about his "main man" Keyontae.  And then there is Danny...all I know about Danny is that he eats the cheese out of Cooper's lunchable everyday...ha ha!

Popsicles were a last minute thought...like Ms. Wells asked us if we could bring some at 6:45 that morning.  Matt saved the day and went to Kroger and back before we needed to leave and the kids had popsicles after their run...

Anna Lauren and her friends getting ready to start...

I didn't get any pictures of Anna Lauren but by the look of her shirt, she had a fun time...

Friday was school spirit day...and...if you cannot tell from the picture, it was cold (finally feels a little like fall) when we went out. Hence, the shivering teeth/fake smiles.

Not sure this is the new style, but it is for sure Cooper's style.
Some battles are not worth fighting...

Friday afternoon they had a little Homecoming parade...

And this little girl ended her week playing teacher...her most favorite afternoon activity.  She loves pretending to be a teacher's kid in the afternoons.

The kids had a super fun week, and I love all the pictures their teachers and others sent me throughout the week.  Unfortunately, dress up doesn't end...next week is red ribbon week.  Seriously, two weeks in a row???

Just Me and Mom...

It is very very rare for my mom and I to spend time together just the two of us, but we spent all day Saturday/part of Sunday together...just the two of us!!!  Thought this was a good time for us to do it since it is her birthday month...

I let her pick what she wanted to do and she chose to go to the coast for the night.  We arrived around lunch time, had lunch at the Half Shell, spent the after shopping, and then had dinner on the beach with this view...

Sunday morning we went for a walk on the beach...

She hates pictures, but I made her take at least one.  After our walk, we showered, had breakfast, and then headed back home.

It was a nice little birthday getaway...just the two of us!!!

MS State Fair...

While I was on my road trip with Sam, Matt and the kids enjoyed their Monday off work/school at the state fair...

This picture right here 100% sums up his personality...

When you have to wear your Daddy's tennis shoes because no open toe shoes can be worn in the fun house...

They had a fun day with the BEST Daddy!!!
