Roberson Family Christmas...

Yesterday we had our Roberson family Christmas at Nanna's house.  We started our Christmas taking some pictures...you know, presents serve as good bribery (sort of)...

Paula didn't send Christmas cards and is thinking about sending a New Year's card so we started taking some pictures of their family...

There is one thing for sure...this lil boy LOVES his older cousins...

This is "real life" trying to take a picture of these 6...like I said, presents were only "sort of" bribery...didn't really work.

You thought I was kidding...no really, this is what you get with these 6 crazies!

Hmm...maybe this is our best option...their back sides...ha ha!

Me and my brothers...

And then it was present time...

This kid LOVED every one of his presents...he had the BEST time.

Cooper begged, and begged, and begged for this suit.  I finally told Brad he could buy it for him and it would make him the coolest uncle ever.  Well, I was right...he was BEYOND excited over this ugly thing that now I have to walk into church with him wearing.

Can we say...SURPRISED!!! And...VERY excited!!!

Look at that face...true excitement!!!

Reid asked for a YETI cup...Joey played a joke on him and got him a Mexican YETI.  Later he gave him his "real" present...

I got Barbie a cute water bottle and Joey a YETI cup...

Reid was too excited about his new cup to take a picture, but I still think this is a cute picture.

There is always something Mississippi State at our family Christmas...

Cooper loving Uncle Brad's new hat and his new camouflage...

Nanna was SUPER surprised that we got her an Ipad...

It's just fun to play with little boy's toys...

Anna Lauren and Bently went in the garage and did their Doh Vinci from Uncle Brad and Aunt Paula.

And after our yummy steak dinner, we celebrated Uncle Joey's birthday...

We had a fun afternoon and night with our family celebrating Christmas...and tonight we will celebrate with our extended family. It's for sure a Christmas in Brookhaven kind of weekend...

Christmas Card...

Not real sure what I would do without my creative friend Leah who gets me through every craft project or my talented photographer friend Christy who ALWAYS gets the best pictures of my family. In the midst of craziness, we managed to find 20 minutes for a quick photo shoot with Christy, and she sent me Christmas card templates, which I picked at the red lights on Lakeland Drive driving to work.  Needless to say, it may be my favorite Christmas card yet...love, love, love this years card!

Speech...

After 3 years, Anna Lauren has graduated from speech.  Over the 3 years, she had Ms. Powell who moved to TN, then she had Ms. Garner, then she had Ms. Daniels last year, and she ended this year with Ms. Garner again.  She LOVED every minute of speech and even though she acted excited about being done, I know she will miss it.  She loved that one on one attention several times a week and her speech teachers ALWAYS made it fun for her.  Matt and I love her school and are thankful they provide her with what she needs to be better!

Ridgecrest Christmas Program...

On Sunday, December 13th, Anna Lauren got to dance to one of the songs in the Ridgecrest Christmas program.  Just so happened they were practicing the one day a week she does not have cheer so we buckled down and practiced cheer/church program every night of the week for a couple weeks so she could be a part.

The attack of the hairspray...

To do something she has not done since she was 4, she did great and looked BEAUTIFUL!

I must say...these were seven pretty angels...was so fun helping Christy get them all dressed and ready!

Could eat these two up...I mean how cute are they?

The "rowdy" shepherds, who did a great job!  They just made sure to have fun too...

Almost "go" time...

Love our sweet Elliot, who was playing "little boy" Jesus...

Cooper's Christmas Program...

On Friday, December 11th, Cooper had his school Christmas program...

Since Cooper's class is the oldest, they all had speaking parts this year.  We were VERY surprised when KJ would not do his speaking part...he was supposed to do the "greeting" and bless his heart, he just got so nervous.  So Ms. Shelley just picked him up and said his part for him...preschool fun!!!  You just never know what to expect...

This little guy however was so excited about his speaking part, and he did great!

He said: Joseph found an inn, and he knocked on the door.  And the owner opened the door and Joseph said, may we please have a room for the night?  The owner said, he had no room.

When the part came home, I kind of panicked...it seemed so long. Not sure why...this kid learned it in one day

He was right behind the piano so it was kind of hard to see him, but he sure was having a good time singing.  He LOVES to sing!

When Anna Lauren was in daycare, one of her little friends had to be the star in the Christmas program, and we thought the costume was horrible and laughed so hard.  Well, at St Paul, they have an entire class of stars...Matt and I get tickled every year.

Such a happy little boy walking out of his program...he had so much fun, and we loved every minute of watching him!

Emily's Senior Party...

On December 6th, me and a couple of my co-workers hosted a senior party for Emily Daniels.  Emily is the daughter of a co-worker, and we have all watched her grow up and wanted to celebrate this special time in her life with her.  We hosted the party at Fat Cat Ceramics and the girls painted a Christmas ornament.

Our friend, Leah, is so talented...the chalkboard turned out SO cute!

Regina thought it would be a cute idea to make these mugs for the girls to drink hot chocolate out of...well, guess who made them? Matt...didn't he do good?

Anna Lauren is always up for a painting at Fat Cat...

Fun afternoon with a sweet group of girls (Emily is in the middle)...look forward to continuing to watch her as she continues her journey through college.
