End of Fall Soccer Season...

This morning Cooper's fall soccer season came to an end...they played two games, enjoyed playing on an inflatable, had pizza, and got a medal.  Was the perfect day for a little 6 year old soccer player!

This year was for sure an "adjustment" year for Cooper, but he got better and better each game...

Look at their faces...they are both so "intense"...

Oh how I love this smile...and him!!!

And we're off...until Spring soccer...

Meet the Tribe...

Last Sunday morning we left home bright and early (5:45 AM to be exact) and headed to Birmingham...we have now officially kicked off competition cheer season!!!

These two...not sure I even have words for them...

He may push every button she has and drive her crazy, but without a doubt, he is her biggest fun!!!  One day she will realize how lucky she is to have a dad who wants to be so involved...even if that means competition cheer.

Guess she has decided to do something different this year...she use to like to run out last...here she is in the front.

The smile...I always know she is in her "happy" place when I see this smile on her face.

Hands down...stunting is her favorite!  This year she is back spotting and seems to be liking it...I was concerned because she has always been a base, but she hasn't really skipped a beat.

Anna Lauren is on the left...she is pulling Holyn over her head...

This didn't go so well...they couldn't get Holyn back up...however, still time to pull it together.  Several weeks before we actually compete...Meet the Tribe is only a showcase.

Receiving her "5" year award...

Cannot go to Birmingham without taking a picture in front of this waterfall...

And here we go...another cheer season and they are ready!!!

Before we left I told her she never took a picture with her momma...this is the best we got...crazy kid!

Celebrating "68" with Nanna...

It was a week late, but we celebrated Nanna's birthday last Saturday night.  She picked Mexican for dinner...

These kids love celebrating birthdays at Mexican...the hat, the singing, the whip cream in your face...

Nanna had no idea what was about to happen...

Anna Lauren was sure to tell them to get her good...and...

They got her...

After dinner, we came home and had birthday cake...

But first...you must sing and blow out candles!!!

She's not in the picture, but I can assure you that Anna Lauren was doing something funny...

They love them some Nanna, and we all loved getting to celebrate with her!!!

End of Volleyball Season...

Anna Lauren's volleyball season ended last Saturday morning. Matt and I left a few minutes early to go to Cooper's soccer game, and I asked Regina to take a picture of the girls for me...umm...this is what I got...

I think Anna Lauren "liked" volleyball, but I do not think she "loved" volleyball.  Cheer is in full swing now so I would be surprised if she even asks to play again.  But...she tried it and now she knows there is something besides cheer rather she ever plays again or not.

It was super nice that volleyball and soccer are at the same place so we could go from game to game on Saturday mornings.  After volleyball last Saturday we went to watch this cutie play...and...he even scored a goal!!!  That is a big deal this year since he is playing with the older boys.  However, he has gotten better and better each game, and we are proud of him!!!

Halloween...

Every year is kind of different but this year Halloween fell on a Monday, we actually trick or treated on the actual day, and we trick or treated in our subdivision (my favorite)...

Anna Lauren decided to go as a "western girl"...couldn't convince her to wear a hat, but she did wear cowboy boots.  I mean for a kid who "pretends" to like dress up it was dressed up in her opinion. And Cooper...well, he finally decided to be a FBI agent.  He loves dress up so he has many options to choose from...

Anna Lauren loves to pass out candy...

But then they were ready to "trick or treat"...

Cooper ran into a friend from his class...and obviously this little girl likes Cooper because I heard her calling his name from what seemed like a mile away.

This is just one bag of candy...so...we ended with two piles this big. Therefore, I call that successful night of "trick or treat"...

Cooper LOVES Mr. Rudy across the street...but...he does NOT like for Mr. Rudy to dress up scary.  He was "mad" at Rudy.  However, Rudy took his scary mask off and brought him a popsicle so then...Cooper was all better!

We had a fun night and now we are into November, which means it is officially holiday season.  Some people love that thought...I however, can quickly get stressed.  I have to work really hard to not allow myself to get overwhelmed...I get so caught up in the what all has to be done that I have a hard time actually enjoying the special time of the year.
