Back Patio...

Considering our next door neighbors and across the street neighbors each just had $10,000 of foundation work done, Matt and I were convinced we also had foundation issues by the looks of our back patio.  Thankfully, we got much better news...our foundation is "ok" for now.  The cracks in our patio were caused by roots from a nearby tree, which just happened to be our shade...but o'well...tree had to go.

The before picture...

Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but I'm pretty sure it was probably at least a 6 inch difference...someone was going to trip and fall.

You could have hidden treasures in these cracks...

Demolition day...

We did have to have a little foundation work done...this is very expensive "mud" that was pumped under the house to hopefully prevent any further foundation issues.

And our new smooth/crack free patio...

Obviously our yard needs lots of attention this summer after having two trees cut and the new patio.  It is for sure going to be our summer project...hopefully by the end of the summer there is less dirt/mud and more grass.

Soccer ~ That's A Wrap...

Cooper had his last soccer game of the season this afternoon...

After the game, they had a little pizza party and got their trophies...

Look at that smile...he couldn't wait to get his trophy...

Soccer was fun as always and now we are on to baseball...love watching this little guy play sports!

Just A Little Life Lately...

Just a little "life lately"...

This little guy pulled his first tooth, and he pulled it all by himself. He was so proud!!!

And then he was really happy the next morning when the tooth fairy had left him $2...

Sam had to do a presentation of how to make something...she decided to make a cake and asked if the kids would make the same cake and take pictures for her to use in her power point so it would be more entertaining.  So...that is what we did!!!

They really were so sweet and both participated...so..."high five" on making a cake together.

The Miami "U" for Sam's power point...

Cooper asked Matt to come have lunch with him/Robbie one day...so of course, that is exactly what Matt did.

We have been SO proud of Anna Lauren...she did NOT miss one practice even though she couldn't practice or compete.  And...she continued to encourage her teammates.  It's a work in progress, but we are constantly working on the inside being as pretty as the outside...in this case, she did a fantastic job!!!

Oh how it brightens my day to get pictures from Cooper's teacher in the middle of my work day...

Aquatic therapy trying to get the foot better...

Baseball season has begun, and we have one excited little boy...

And then there is still soccer...

Soccer may be my favorite to watch Cooper play.  But on the flip side, I enjoy watching my kids do whatever they are willing to work hard and do...rather it be cheer, soccer, or baseball.  I'm not going to pick for them...I just want them to give whatever they are playing their all, and I will happily watch/support them!!!

Miami With My Favorite Big Girl...

Last weekend I got to go to Miami and spend a few days loving on my most big favorite girl...

Saturday morning we had breakfast at this super cute little donut place she had told me all about...cookies and cream, nutella, brown sugar/maple syrup and bacon...let's just say we each had a bite or two of each of them.  So yum!!!

After our donuts we walked around and checked out all the art...I loved all the bright colors...

We decided this one would be Anna Lauren's favorite and as we got closer, there was "AL" right in the middle...how funny is that?

Sam had to go to something for school on Saturday night so I enjoyed a little run...I love this street and all the trees down the middle...just a pretty street for a run.

After church and lunch Sunday, we went for a long walk on the beach...

I'm so thankful for time I get to spend with Sam...she is such a special girl, and I am so glad God chose us to be her "second" family...

I had a great weekend with my most favorite big girl, and we are now counting the weeks (just 4 more) until she comes here and we can all five be together for a few days!!!
