Orange Beach Vacation ~ Day 4 Continued

Anna Lauren finally woke up, and we ate a quick bite of dinner in the condo and headed out to play on the beach and then swam for a little while. Anna Lauren had been asking to swim at night all week so she finally got her wish tonight, and she thought it was great fun!

Gulf view from our condo...we are across the street from the beach, but we can still get the "beach" feel from our balcony.

Bay view from our condo...we get both views from our balcony...

Anna Lauren being silly and showing off her new swimsuit Nanna bought her at the outlet mall...

Playing on the beach...when we go to the beach, we say there is a "side" beach and a "front" beach...there were no signs of oil on the side beach this afternoon. However, Nanna stayed longer than us and said some boys got some oil on their feet at the "front" beach...

Love this action shot of Anna Lauren running through the sand and in the midst of a fall...

Anna Lauren was not interested in me taking her picture...BUT...being the nosy child she is, I was able to catch her while staring at a family taking pictures on the beach...

One of Anna Lauren's favorites...the shower at the beach!

We got to enjoy the beautiful sunset tonight...

Back to the slide...think she was going through withdrawals...

She LOVES to slide all different ways...with Daddy, with Mommy, by herself sitting up, by herself on her tummy, by herself any way she ends up!

Love this picture of my two favorite people! Glad she got Daddy's beautiful smile and love of having a good time!

Orange Beach Vacation ~ Day 4

This morning we "twisted" Anna Lauren's arm and talked her into going to the outlet mall rather than swimming. After shopping for a little while, we took her to Lambert's for lunch...we thought she would enjoy the "thrown" rolls, which she did.

She has been wanting to go swimmng at "night" so this is the night...if she ever wakes up from a nap...she has been sleeping the past 3 hours...she must be exhausted from playing so hard.

Riding the carousel at the outlet mall with Daddy...poor thing, she was so excited and then the worker tried to "seatbelt" her to the horse and freaked her out. She then rode in Daddy's lap and said he "scared" her...

Showing off her new tennis shoes that Daddy bought her...Daddy always takes her to the Nike store and buys her tennis shoes. They like to do that all by themselves...without mommy!

One picture of the tennis shoes was not enough...needless to say, she was proud!

This is pretty much how she looked the whole time we were at lunch...just watching the action...

She loved the rolls...BUT...never took her eyes off the action...

Nanna and Anna Lauren...

Mommy and Daddy...

This picture is blurry, but I still think it is cute. Yes, Anna Lauren is taking a "self-portrait" of us...

The "family" shot attempt...

Orange Beach Vacation ~ Day 3

Today was another fun day at the beach! We skipped out on going to the "beach" today, but we had fun at the lazy river, swimming, and sliding at the different pools.

Anna Lauren designed her own hair style this morning...not sure where she came up with all these different pony tails, but we agreed and let her do what she wanted...after all, it is vacation!

Floating down the lazy river...this was a bit to "slow" paced for Anna Lauren so after once, she moved on to something else...

Daddy and Anna Lauren floating on the lazy river...

This may not be Anna Lauren's favorite...BUT...Daddy LOVES a lazy river!

Swimming makes our little girl hungry, hungry...we cannot keep her full this week!

More sliding...

Not sure who is smiling more this week...Anna Lauren or Daddy?

Big splash...when she gets to the bottom, she makes her "fat face" and goes under with no crying...swimming lessons really boosted her confidence...

Sliding with Nanna...Nanna only did it once...the current took her and Anna Lauren right under, and she wasn't so sure about that...

Sliding with Mommy...

Waving to Daddy before we head down the slide...

Anna Lauren and Mommy...

Daddy holding Anna Lauren up while they go down the slide together...

Fun, Fun, Fun!

Again, not sure who is having more fun...Daddy or Anna Lauren?

After dinner, we went to The Wharf because Anna Lauren wanted to ride the farris wheel...to her disappointment, the farris wheel was closed, which called for a melt down. However, a little ice cream made things all better!

Orange Beach Vacation ~ Day 2

Fortunately, there are still no signs of oil in Orange Beach so we were able to go to the beach this morning for a couple hours. Anna Lauren LOVED it for a little while then a big wave got her and Daddy so she was done and ready to head back to the pool.

Daddy, Anna Lauren, and Nanna "riding" the waves...Anna Lauren giggled and giggled and giggled...

Building sand castles...

Can you tell she is having fun?

Anna Lauren and Nanna letting the waves get their feet...

Daddy and Nanna buried Anna Lauren in the sand...she thought that was great fun!

All but her head buried in the sand...

Back to the pool before going in for lunch...yes, even Daddy LOVES the slide!

Again, doesn't matter how she comes off the slide...she still LOVES it!

After lunch and nap time, we headed back out to the pool for several hours...this time, we went to a different pool, which had 3 different tunnel slides...

Coming down the big tunnel slide...her face doesn't show it, but she loved this one just as much as the other slide...

More smiles...

Daddy LOVES the Caribe too!

Here she comes...

More jumping...if I had a nickel for every time she went down the slide or jumped, I would be rich!

Jumping to Nanna...she is very particular and tells you exactly what she wants...sometimes she wants Daddy, sometimes Mommy, and sometimes Nanna...

Getting ready to jump once again...

Taking a break and just relaxing...

More jumping but this time goggles were necessary...

Before time to go in for the night, she wanted to play in the indoor pool for just a few minutes...and of course, had to jump just a couple more times...
