It Snowed This Time...

For the 3rd time since the beginning of the year, we experienced a "winter storm". However, this time we actually got to enjoy a little snow rather than just ice. Now there was no snowman building or anything of those sorts, but we did enjoy some pretty snow and it is actually still on the ground. Needless to say, it is freezing cold!

It snowed yesterday afternoon while we were at work / school and then started snowing again after we got home. The girls across the street came over to get Anna Lauren so they could play in it for a little while...

Backyard this morning...

Another shot of the backyard...as you can see, it just barely covered the grass...nothing to get too excited about...BUT...it was snow!

Quick picture before heading to work...although work was open, daycare was closed. Matt kept the kids...however, we are tired of burning vacation days for weather...come on Spring!

Baby Ellie...

Anna Lauren and I did get a "quick" hospital visit the day baby Ellie was born, but we got an "extended" visit today. Of course, Anna Lauren held Ellie for a few minutes and then she was off to play with her buddies Adam and Jack.

Katie, thanks for the fun visit today...she is precious!

Big brother, Adam, and Ellie...

Wow...we were amazed at the difference between 4 months and 2 weeks...however, we were happy to introduce Cooper to his new little friend...I cannot wait to watch them grow and play together just like Adam and Anna Lauren. So fun to have friends with children the age of yours!

Cooper trying to smile...think he may like this sweet little girl!

Uh oh...she is checking him out!
Such a sweet little girl...

The Helmet...

When Cooper was born, my sweet friend Jennifer brought him a football hat to the hospital. It is by far, one of our favorites and he pretty much wears it every day that it is cool outside. Well, it quickly got the name "helmet" at school. And one day, he had his football robeez (shoes) on, and we heard, "look at Cooper, he has his helmet and cleats on today." So...here is the little man in his helmet at the age of 4 months...

And just in case you are wondering, he does cry from time to time!

Cooper's Special Treat...

Anna Lauren knows all about special treats, but sweet Cooper isn't quite old enough to know about them...however, we got him a special treat at Wal-Mart Friday...rice cereal and plastic bibs! After a good 4 month visit to the doctor on Thursday, he said it was time for the little man to start eating cereal. Anna Lauren, who doesn't miss a thing, helped me get all ready for the "big" 1st feeding of rice cereal...Cooper just played along for the fun of it and was a good sport to entertain his sister and Mommy.

Cooper doesn't have a clue what is about to happen and is doing what he does best...eating those hands!

Big sister who LOVES her some Cooper and doesn't miss a thing he does!

1st bite...

Hmm...not sure what to think about this so I'll just give you a "little" smile...

Few more bites...after all, it is not about the cereal intake...just learning to eat off the spoon...

Anna Lauren is always trying to make him laugh...she does a great job!

The little man's smile is just priceless...he typically smiles no matter what is happening in his little life!

Baby Dedication Picture...

We have to submit a picture to the church for Cooper's baby dedication...so what do you think I did? Yep...you guessed it...called my sweet friend Jennifer, and she worked her magic as she always does and took these WONDERFUL pictures of our precious little man. Now...which picture to use...such a hard decision to make!

Jennifer, thanks again for taking time to snap a few pictures of Cooper...I LOVE them just as I always love the pictures you take of my family.

Watch Me Grow...

1 Month...
2 Months...
3 Months...
4 Months...

4 Months...

Our little man turned 4 months old yesterday. He continues to sleep all night, smile all day, and LOVES his hands! Oh...and he is well loved by all at school...especially his sisters friends!

My mom found a baby picture of my dad, and we see much similarity between Cooper and dad...pretty much the same exact smile. Nothing makes me prouder, and I can only imagine the big smile dad has on his face when he looks down from heaven at this sweet little boy. I know heaven is a WONDERFUL place but so many times I just wish he was here to see my children.
