Princess Cooper...

So...this is what happens when you have a big sister...

No worries, Cooper! One day you'll be big enough to stand up for yourself and not let Anna Lauren do this to you. However, we all thought you made a "pretty" princess!

Fun Times with Cousins...

For some reason, I have failed to post about this...BUT...back in April, Matt's sister and her family moved from Atlanta to Paris. We were sad to see them go but couldn't help but be thrilled for them and the experience this would be for their family.

Jim was going to be traveling for 2 weeks so at the last minute he talked Kate into flying to the States with the kids for two weeks so she could spend some time with all their family. She made many stops in her two weeks and really wanted the kids to get to spend some time with all their cousins...so...we got to have them at our house for 2 fun-filled nights. We all had so much fun and hated to see them go. After looking at my pictures, we were obviously having too much fun for me to take pictures because I have very few to document their time here, but I did manage to get one or two.

Friday we went to the Children's Museum...it was our first time there...we were impressed for sure and everyone had a good time! Here Matt and Anna Lauren are riding bikes...

I cannot help but LOVE her sweet smiles...she is full of them...doesn't really matter what she is doing!

And then there is this smile...can we say priceless?

Mommy cannot get enough...I just keep taking pictures, and he just keeps smiling!

Anna Lauren's favorite spot at the museum...the dance studio!

James, Mary Martin, Anna Lauren, and Cooper...

You know...you have to at least attempt to take pictures of the kids...however, they never cooperate do they?

Another Good Year of School...

Another year of daycare has come and gone...Anna Lauren just finished her year of "3" year old preschool and Cooper his first 7 months of "nursery". I cannot even begin to put into words the year Anna Lauren has had with Ms. Joyce...oh the things she learned and the little girl she became this past year. We were beyond blessed for her to spend a year with Ms. Joyce! And Cooper has done great at "big boy school"...you know, there is not a lot to say at his age...eat, sleep, play. But...Ms. San was fabulous, and we left him every day knowing he was well taken care of by his teachers. And so now we have said our "goodbyes" and are off to "Pre-K" and "Nursery IV" for just a few months then to "Toddlers".

Cooper with Ms. San...

Another one with Ms. San...had to have a smile so we could remember that he loved him some Ms. San!

Precious Miss Leigh-Anne (afternoon teacher)...yes, he just has a diaper on...he had messed up all his clothes that day. A story for another day...

Anna Lauren and Ms. Joyce...and yes, it was pajama day...she doesn't normally go to school in pajamas...

And her 4 year old teacher, Ms. Theresa...she had to stop by and get her "folder" for BIG GIRL school...and yes, she thinks she is something since she is in Pre-K!

Brookhaven Exchange Club Fair...

Last year we took Anna Lauren to the Exchange Club Fair in Brookhaven and she LOVED it and did not forget going and asked over and over if she could go again this year. So...the fair FINALLY opened on Friday night and we were there...and...we were not only there on Friday night, we were there on Saturday night too. Thanks to all Nanna's rolled quarters all the grandkids had a blast. Ashton and Bently went with us on Friday night and Reid and Jake went with us on Saturday night...and yes, Anna Lauren thinks she is as old as the boys and does ALMOST everything they do...Ashton braved the swings, and we would not let her.

Ashton (navy shirt) started Friday night off by riding the swings...

Bently took a ride on the airplanes...

And then Anna Lauren's favorite ride...the roller coaster...and yes, this is the same roller coaster my mom rode as a kid...surely it is going to quit working one day soon...you should hear the thing! However, Anna Lauren LOVES it!

Sweet cousins...she always grabs one of the boys hands...it is the sweetest thing because they let her hold their hands.

Anna Lauren's face is just priceless!

The train...the one thing I can ride without getting sick...

And here they are starting Saturday night off with the roller coaster...

Friday night Cooper slept through the fair, but we was awake Saturday night so he got to ride the swings and had so much fun!

Poor Jake looks bored...only at the Brookhaven fair do you get to ride a ride for a good 10 minutes...

Jake...such a trooper riding the carousel with Anna Lauren!

Summer Dance Recital...

This past Thursday, Anna Lauren had her summer dance recital. As she has in the past, she put on a show and was all smiles on stage...when you watch her, you can for sure say it is money well spent each month. She LOVES dance!

All ready for the recital...and yes, she took off her "new" necklace and bracelet when we got to the recital but they were necessary for pictures at home.

Poor Cooper...this is what he thought of the dance recital!

Introducing "fairy" Anna Lauren Calvert...

One of my favorite pictures of the night...love her looking at Holli Grace rather than putting her face down like everyone else.

How sweet are these little ballet shoes peaking under the curtain?

Sweet Miss Leah...she has been FABULOUS this year but will not be teaching next year...so sad!
