Cruise Vacation Day 5 ~ Falmouth, Jamaica

We spent day 5 in Falmouth, Jamaica...this is a fairly new port, and we LOVED it...I think this was actually my favorite port / day.

Of course Anna Lauren was thirsty when we got off the ship...so...she and Matt shared a $3 Coca-Cola light...

We spent the day at Breezes...an all inclusive resort...not sure I would want to spend a week there because the resort was a little dated, but it was the PERFECT spot for a day.  And I actually thought the beach was the prettiest of the 3 we went to on this trip.

Matt showing how crystal clear the water was...

The resort had a little bit of everything...here Anna Lauren was playing on the playground...

Anna and Matt and the top of the castle...you climbed to the top of the castle and then went down the slide...Anna Lauren will tell you this was for sure one her her FAVORITES of the trip.

LOVE Anna Lauren's face in this picture...she and Matt were jumping waves...and really, the kid smiled, and smiled, and smiled...she LOVED the trip!

Just one of the many gorgeous views...

These were taken from the top of the castle / slide...

So fun for everyone!  And by this point, it was hot so the water was a little cool at first, but you wanted to get in the water.

At the port...Anna Lauren got a balloon dog and a flower bow...

She wore her flower bow the rest of the day...we didn't even wash/fix hair for dinner...she wanted to wear her flower, and we let her...it was cute!

If Anna Lauren talks to you about the trip, she will likely tell you our head waiter aggravated her...and that, he did.  He pinched her cheeks every time he walked by, tried to take her bows, etc.  However, she was a good sport and of course, aggravated him back.  And in the end, he did treat her like a princess.  Remember...the bacon in the mornings?  Now...we cannot tell you his name...you know, he told us, but we have no clue what he said!

Cruise Vacation Day 6 ~ At Sea...

Day 6 we were back at sea.  Anna Lauren and Matt got a little too much sun in Jamaica so we decided to have an "inside" day and not to mention Anna Lauren had gotten tired by this point and needed a nap day.  So...we relaxed and all enjoyed the afternoon in the room and of course a nap was much needed for everyone...not just Anna Lauren!

After breakfast, Anna Lauren went to the kids club because they were doing an art project...right up her alley!  Matt and I actually enjoyed an hour at the "adult" pool.  Then...she swam for just a little bit in the kids area because it was shaded...

We had lunch at Johnny Rockets...such a fun lunch spot so we had to do it once again!

Our 2nd formal night...we didn't know what to expect but Anna Lauren actually liked the dining room so we went to dinner all 7 nights.

Striking a pose...this night she wanted to take pictures...she took a million!

Her favorite creature of the week...

Cruise Vacation Day 7 ~ At Sea...

Our last day was spent busy at sea...on a ship this size, at sea is really just as fun because there is so much to do.  Almost need several days at sea so you have time to do everything.

After breakfast, Anna Lauren and Matt played a few games in the arcade...

Anna Lauren wanted to go to the kids club this morning because they were doing a talent show...you know the pageant girl is all about some "talent"...

They painted their faces for the talent show...

Sitting with all the other kids watching other talents...of course, she LOVED this!

The older kids did their own talents...but...the 3 to 5 year olds did a dance together.  I would love to know what she is telling this little boy beside her...too funny!

Introducing herself and telling everyone where she is from...she was most excited about talking on REAL microphone...

So proud of her medal...everyone that performed got a medal...

After the talent show, we headed straight for the pool...by now, the pool had warmed up and you could actually swim without freezing to death.

Some older girls in the pool convinced her she was going to be a cheerleader...of course, she loved hearing that and had to show off her stunts...

Oh the ice cream...you can get it whenever you want...

Ice skating once again...this time, they convinced Mommy to skate.  And yes, she has on pajamas.  When packing, I didn't realize you would have to have pants to ice skate...so...we did our best.  But...the workers are like, it doesn't matter...just cover your legs...pajamas, tights, etc.  Of course, Anna Lauren heard pajamas so she was convinced to wear her pajamas.

I stayed close to the wall at all times...

One of many, many slices of pizza ate all week...

These two girls stopped at our dinner table and asked if they could take a picture with Anna Lauren because she is so pretty.  She LOVES "big" girls so she happily smiled!  We are very blessed to have a beautiful child...but...if I heard it once, I heard it two million times on this trip...poor Anna Lauren would say, Mommy I'm tired of saying thank you.  Why is everyone saying I'm pretty?  Formal nights were the worst...everyone would stop her and tell her she was so pretty, and on and on.  I will say she was sweet for most part...we were proud and are so blessed to have her as our daughter.  What a wonderful week we had with her...and oh the memories we will always have of this trip!

Perfect End to Vacation...

And seeing this little man was the PERFECT end to our vacation week.  We missed him terribly, but he had a fun time in Brookhaven with Uncle Brad, Aunt Paula, Reid, Jake, and Nanna.  We could never thank them enough for taking such good care of him and providing him such a fun week of being the "special" little man! (excuse his mouth...he was enjoying Oreos)

1st Soccer Game...

This morning Anna Lauren had her first soccer game...she was a little hesitant about the "game" last weekend, which ended up getting cancelled, but this morning she was ready to go!  She had a good game and lots of fun and is ready to go play again!

All ready and waiting on her game to start...

Marley, Jack, and Anna Lauren started the game...they play 3 on 3...

I was watching her and failed to get the picture...but...the ball in the goal is proof this is her first goal!  She ended up scoring two goals and was just a little proud (as were Daddy and Mommy) to say the least.

Love this picture of Jack even if he is having a little melt down...sometimes taking turns is hard to understand when you are having fun and just want to play.  Thankfully, Anna Lauren did well with taking turns...I think her being just a little older helps.

 Scoring her 2nd goal...

And as you can see, she was pretty proud of herself...as she should be!

Think the tunnel may have been Jack's favorite...love that smile!  Anna Lauren didn't have any part of the tunnel...BECAUSE...

At the end of the game, she and another little girl were both running and ran right into each other...got a little bump on the head, but she eventually shook it off...
