On Wednesday, I only had class from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, which meant I got the spend the afternoon with Matt and the kids. While I was in class they went to the movie and then we went to the Horse Park that afternoon.
They went to see the $1 Lego movie, but Cooper loved the Ninja Turtle display...

At the horse park watching the "horses of the world" parade with my lil man...
And my "big" girl...
After watching the "horses of the world", we went to the kid's barn to see how to bathe and brush a horse. The kid's barn had all miniature horses. It took a while for the kids to warm up, but they finally touched the horse.
Once Cooper warmed up, he was all about petting and brushing the horse...
They were so excited to finally be riding a pony...once they heard we were going to the horse park, all they had talked about was riding a pony.
We took a trolley ride around the horse park...
Love being this little boy's mommy...he is so fun!
The horse park was very impressive...not sure we would go every year, but for sure glad we went this year. We also saw some of the horses that had won the Kentucky Derby in years past and watched a little bit of a horse show - jumping horses. The weather made the day so enjoyable too...beautiful and like 75 degrees!
