Six weeks after her injury and back at the doctor...
After wearing a cast for five weeks, she was ALL smiles taking one last picture in a cast...
She wore her first cast for 2 weeks and this cast for 3 weeks...let me just say that one extra week made a huge difference. Her foot/leg was DISGUSTING when he took it off!!! And a piece of glitter??? We have NO clue!!!
This time she even got a few blisters...
She kept saying it felt like there were blisters on her heel...she was right...
I cannot even begin to describe the smell...let's just say neither of us were breathing and it was horrible!!! We were never so excited for her leg to be scrubbed with alcohol and to smell that smell instead.
From a cast to a boot and hydra works PT...she was super excited about that and has enjoyed going. She was just so ready to do something/anything. She's been back in the boot two weeks...hoping to ween out of it this week...fingers crossed!
