Last Friday morning the Highland Bluff 1st graders had their patriotic music program. They sang and afterwards you could have a brown bag breakfast with your child...we skipped out on the breakfast because we were ready to get to the beach for Anna Lauren's last cheer competition. We even debated skipping the program and going to the beach Thursday night...she did not go for that...she really wanted to participate in the program, which we understood. They had been practicing and practicing and did such a good job!
The picture turned out dark but this is her little buddy, Luke. He actually had a solo and did so good! You could try out for a solo...Anna Lauren tried out but didn't get picked. She was fine with it though...didn't seem to bother her one bit!
Was so fun to watch them...they all just sang their little hearts out! Wow...they grow/change so much from kindergarten to 1st grade.
