This morning we went to the Flowood Easter Egg hunt with Nanna and the Bounds family. It was a beautiful spring morning to spend with family and friends this Easter weekend.
Anna Lauren has been so busy with cheer that we have not got to spend much time with the Bounds family so it was nice to finally have a day to spend with these sweet friends who we have missed so much lately.
Patiently waiting for the egg hunt to start. They were handing out fire hats when we got there so he isn't just "doing his own thing" this time!
The egg hunt was divided by age so Christy, Nanna, and I stayed with these little guys. They had their baskets and were ready to go!
I got one picture of him...seriously, the eggs were GONE within two minutes. Super fast egg hunt!
Checking to see if any of his eggs had a prize...he did got one prize...a little flashlight in one of his eggs.
The girls were a little disappointed...they didn't get any prizes in their eggs. But the disappointment didn't last long and they were off to all the many other activities.
Face painting was first and then straight to karaoke...thankfully we talked them into singing something besides "Let It Go", which every other kid sang.
This poor dog...I mean really?
Cooper enjoying his sno cone...
And obviously she liked her BLUE sno cone!
On the way out, Cooper spotted the Easter Bunny and happily jumped in his lap for a few pictures...Elliot wasn't having any part of the bunny.
Afterwards we had lunch and then came back to our house to play for a little while...fun day of Easter fun, and we look forward to celebrating the true meaning of Easter tomorrow!
