Anna Lauren has wanted to do swim team the past couple of summers and this is the first summer we could get her cheer schedule to match up with the swim schedule. She started practice last Tuesday...Tuesday night she told us she had made a terrible decision and she regretted asking to swim. By Wednesday, she was all in and decided she maybe she did like it. Then after her first meet tonight, I think she likes it. We are fine with her cheering, but we are thrilled she is at least giving something else a try. Today she did 50 yard freestyle, 25 yard back stroke, and ended with 25 yard breast stroke. She was all smiles and seemed to be having a good time...that is all we want out of summer swim team...a fun experience trying something new!
