On Thursday, July 7th, Anna Lauren swam in the City Swim Meet. Going into it we had an idea she would not qualify to swim on Saturday and this would be her last meet of the summer. We have been so proud of her this summer...she tried a new sport, had a good attitude the entire season, smiled a lot, made some new friends, and just enjoyed herself. All we wanted her to do was to "try" something different. Thankfully, she did and loved it!

The swimming part was fun but what was just as fun was watching sweet friendships being made. Fingers crossed the swim/cheer schedule works out next summer because Anna Lauren would love to do it again.
