Saturday night we did one of my most favorite things all year...our Reid/Roberson Christmas! Growing up we always had Christmas
with my mom's side of the family Christmas Eve and it was a night of food, presents, and fireworks at the lake. Now that we are all married, have kids, and have other families to spend Christmas with too, it has become a Saturday before Christmas tradition. And since we have also gotten to be a pretty large group, it works out perfect to have dinner at Uncle Terry's office, the recreation department, and then go to the lake for a bonfire and fireworks. This year didn't disappoint...think you can tell by the pictures it was a really fun night of celebrating Christmas with some of our most favorite people!
Was easier to take a silly picture of these wild boys than a "normal" picture...
Carrie and Seth...
The dodge-ball games are VERY serious for the little and the big...
John and Parker still smiling even though they got out playing dodge-ball...just patiently waiting on another game to start!
Fisher didn't seem to be concerned he was in the middle of the dodge-ball game...
Bently working hard on the snowman craft...
The girls really enjoyed the craft...
With a little help from Anna, Fisher made a snowman too!
Drew was so proud of his snowman...he asked me to take several pictures of him. Such a sweet boy!
Anna and Fisher showing off their snowman as the ear muffs are falling off as I take the picture...we now know we need hot glue next time!
Silly Claire...she was trying so hard not to smile...
So excited this cute red head will officially be a part of the family in May...we all love Mark!
Paula and Jake...
After making snowmen, they were ready for a game of Christmas bingo...
Fisher and Poppa (Uncle Terry)...
Carrie, Seth, Fisher, and Uncle Terry...
Reid and Madeleine, his girlfriend. Oh my goodness...I just said Reid has a girlfriend...so crazy...he is growing up so fast!
Love these pictures of Cooper shooting Roman candles with Matt...
Once she figured out how it worked, Anna Lauren enjoyed it too...
Nanna and Pammie helping the little ones roast their marshmallows...
These kids had so much fun together...so sad we are not together more often!
Anna Lauren and Bently ended the night on the swing away from the big fireworks because Anna Lauren doesn't like the loud fireworks.
We had so much fun that we didn't leave until after 11 PM and made a last minute decision to just spend the night in Brookhaven rather than come home. It was well worth the late night and Matt and I sleeping in Nanna's pajamas...ha ha!
