Last Soccer Games of the Season...

Last Saturday Cooper ended his soccer season with two games.  He absolutely loved soccer this Fall, and we absolutely loved watching him play!  He did a 360 degree turn from this past Spring when he played or should we say went to the games...amazing the difference between 3 and 4 years old!

He really was so focused when he played and 99% of the time, he was paying attention to the game.

By far my favorite picture of the season...I'm not going to lie, he loved scoring him a goal and the celebration afterwards!

The celebration continues by running down the field and jumping into Daddy's arms...

Or giving Daddy some high fives...

Like I said, pretty focused...

He stayed right with the ball...wherever it was on the field...he for sure hustled all over that field.

I thought the little boy in the green was so cute...Matt however, thought he should recruit him to play center on our future football team...so funny!  And it looks like he and Cooper may be a good match...both of them with their tongues out.

I told Matt his "center" recruit may grow up and be tall and skinny...look at his dad on the other side of the goal.  Matt on one side and his dad on the other...yeah...we may have us some linemen!  And "centers" mom was my size or bigger...so for sure not much potential for either of them to be small.  Size doesn't matter to me...I just want Cooper to keep his Daddy's "quick" feet.

If we didn't learn anything else this season, we learned to give high fives and say good game.  That was a hard lesson he had to learn his very first game.  Thankfully, he learned that lesson and did it the rest of the season with a smile on his face.

And the trophy...he was so proud!

Pop Pop and MeMe came for the weekend so they could see him play...he was excited to have them there watching him!

And even their new dog, Gus, came out to watch Cooper play soccer...he thought that was great fun!  Think it is safe to say we all enjoyed the morning watching our little man do something he loves!

Cannot Resist Posting...

I am going to do a post on Cooper's last soccer game of the season. But...I glanced at the pictures I took Saturday, and I just couldn't resist posting this picture of him.  He had just scored a goal and this pretty much sums up his soccer season...we have some fun years of watching him play sports ahead of us. Oh how we love this kid!

Meet the Tribe...

Last weekend we kicked off competition cheer season at "Meet the Tribe" in Birmingham.  Thankfully our schedule is much better than last year...we are only competing one weekend a month November through April.  The girls have been practicing since May so they are more than ready for competition time to be here!

Terann, Sydney, and Lilly traveled with us.  Lilly ended up going with us because at the last minute her dad got sick/hospitalized so her parents couldn't go.  She was the perfect 3rd girl...no trouble what-so-ever!

It takes some serious concentration to get their hands/guns just right for a picture...all while holding their leg up in the air at the same time.

Ready to start a new chapter in her book with ACE of Jackson...I'm just thankful for no more skulls.

We couldn't be more proud of her hard work and determination...lots of pressure to only be 7, and she handles it like a champ and loves every minute of cheering!

Excited to see what this year brings for her and her squad...

Leaving the hotel to go meet the rest of their squad...

Yes, we have time for a quick picture while waiting on the elevator!

One of my favorite pictures of the day...such joy and excitement on this little face!

Be sure to take a look at her face...NO make-up this year...Terann and I couldn't be more excited!  Getting ready was so easy...they can wear all the red lipstick they want if we don't have to do that crazy eye make-up!

Walking to the convention center...so fun watching them as a squad and the friendships they are making with each other.

Even in the midst of the craziness, they are still 7/8 and "little" girls playing hand games while they wait to warm-up.

Ava, Raylin (precious friend on the Treasures squad), and Anna Lauren...

Loving on one of the big girls and one of her favorites, Kaitlyn Tapper...

Always a treat to watch the Treasures perform...this sweet little girl is a friend from church.  This was her first competition...her parents looked like a deer in head lights, but she appeared to be loving it!

Her favorite place to be...on the stage performing!

One of my favorite pictures from their routine...

These girls blew us away...if you had seen them practice the week before, you would have said no way!  However, they pulled it together and HIT every stunt...so proud of them!

If they only knew how lucky they were to have their dads so involved...and these three dads wouldn't trade it for anything in the world.  We probably couldn't make them stay home!

And we ended the weekend all smiles after a great performance...it's going to be a good year!

Halloween...

Nanna, the kids, and I spent Halloween night with our best friends, the Bounds family.  Matt had a football game so he missed out on the chaos...I mean fun!  We had hot dogs for dinner and then headed out on a hay ride with a big group of friends to trick or treat in their subdivision.

Cooper was most excited about the hay ride...and really, he trick or treated at a few houses and then he was done.  He and Nanna just cuddled up under a blanket (it was COLD) and enjoyed the ride while all the other kids got on and off to trick or treat.

Anna Lauren, rainbow fairy, and Emmy.  When it was all said and done, I realized I never even got a picture of Anna Lauren's costume.  She wore the same costume from last year but added a tutu and leg warmers.

These girls are really good friends and didn't even realize they were going to be wearing the same costume...

Too bad his eyes are closed, but this smile never left his face.  I'm pretty sure he had the most fun of all the kids.  Never seen his feet move so fast, and he smiled just like this the entire night.  Precious!

Brady got tired of trick or treating too so he and Cooper had their own party on the trailer...

And the best part...checking out all you got!

Such a fun night with our friends, and I just love our kids are getting to make memories together!
