On January 1st, we visited the Miami Seaquarium...
While waiting on the first show to start, we checked out the sting rays...everyone was a little hesitant, but we all finally touched one.
The "proud" smile that she actually touched one...
The first show was a dolphin show...
In case you don't know, dolphins can make some big splashes...
This little girl has a HUGE smile because she just got picked out the crowd to be a part of the show...
We REALLY thought she was going in the water...but...it was just a joke and the girl stopped her from jumping.
Yes, she has swam with dolphins before...but still...what a super cool experience for her!
Pretty sure one of the highlights of her trip...
And this little guy thought it was so fun watching his sister...
This was my favorite show...
Then we headed over to watch the sea lion show and ended with the whale show...don't really have any good pictures from that one because they told you to put our cameras away. You WOULD get wet, and we did.
By the time we left the Seaquarium, we were all starving. So...we went to a cool little pizza place by Sam's house.
Can we say we got a BIG pizza? Well, guess we were hungry because we only brought one piece home.
After lunch we went to Sam's house and declared it "down time"...the kids were tired and needed to just take a break (as did I).
That night Matt and Sam went to the Miami Heat game...
Matt thanked me several times for the tickets...he said the game was so much fun. So glad they got to go, and the kids and I were happy at home...we needed some down time.
