Watch Me Grow...

1 Month...
2 Months...
3 Months...
4 Months...
5 Months....

5 Months...

The little man or should we call him the "happy" man turned 5 months old yesterday.

He continues to have "endless" smiles, laughs out loud at his sister, plays peek-a-boo, eats cereal, and recently got to start eating some carrots.

We love this little man more than words could ever express and are having so much fun watching him grow!

Holli Grace's Birthday Party...

We met MeMe in Meridian to get Anna Lauren so that we could be sure we got back in time for Holli Grace's 4th birthday party. Anna Lauren was so excited the day had finally come...not sure if Anna Lauren or Holli Grace was more excited about the party. Holli Grace celebrated her birthday "cheer" style at Build A Bear...

School friends...Kaylee, Holli Grace, and Anna Lauren...

I looked down and saw this...such sweet friends holding hands...love watching their friendship!

Birthday Girl...

Completely out of order, but you know who was excited when she saw "real" cheerleaders? Anna Lauren could not quit watching them and of course, smiling...

Ready to start building her bear...

Birthday hugs...

Anna Lauren stuffing her bear...

Giving her bear a bath...

And now we have "cheerleader" bears...

Time for cake and presents...

Holli Grace has so many different "looks"...cracks me up!

Sweet little man just enjoying watching the girls...

Holli Grace loves her some Cooper...

Road Trip...

Last week MeMe asked if Anna Lauren could go to Atlanta for the weekend with her to visit Matt's sisters and their families...we said sure as long as Anna Lauren wanted to go. Well, the kid who is always up for "going" and it doesn't matter where was for sure ready to pack her suitcase and load up with MeMe.

Friday morning...bags packed and ready to go...MeMe could not get in the car fast enough!

Not sure what this face is all about, but I still think it is cute...and you know me, a camera went with her and they were so kid to "please" me and send the camera back with pictures. I mean I have to document her "first" road trip without Daddy and Mommy!

I'm thinking Aunt Kelly must have said...silly face!

Anna Lauren, MeMe, Madeline, and Spencer...

Aunt Kelly and Uncle Michael...

Mary Martin and Anna Lauren...Saturday they had a picnic at the park...

Anna Lauren and Mary Martin...

Love this picture because if you know James, you know he LOVES trains...and...he always has them with him. See...there they on the ground right beside him.

Playing in the sand box at Aunt Kate's house...

Looks like a little girl fell asleep during Beauty and the Beast...

Those cousins must have worn her out!

Headed home...looks like Anna Lauren found her a sweet helper to help load the car. Thanks MeMe, Kelly, and Kate...she had a FABULOUS time!

My Sister is So Funny...

One night last week we realized that Cooper thinks his sister is so funny...she was supposed to be brushing her teeth but instead she was dancing and Cooper laughed and laughed and laughed. And then we all laughed...always a special treat to add laughter to the nightly routine that can get old and borning real quick!

Spring Fever...

This afternoon the Calverts got the "spring fever" for sure! Anna Lauren wanted to go outside and play so Matt decided to rake a few leaves because unless you knew we had grass, you could not tell by looking...our yard was covered by leaves...and even after raking a while there are still tons and tons of leaves.

We then brought Cooper out to play and you should have seen his eyes...they were wide open and just taking it all in...he loved it!

I swept the back patio and threw away all the dead flowers...now my pots are ready for some new flowers to welcome Spring / Summer...that will for sure be a project for a weekend in the next few weeks. Unless Nanna decides to come do it for me...unfortunately, I just did not get her LOVE for flowers and it drives her crazy!

Daddy decided he needed some help with getting rid of his piles of leaves so he attached the wagon to Anna Lauren's jeep. Of course, she thought that was GREAT fun!

So happy to be able to get outside and ride in her Jeep...it has been a long winter cooped up inside.

Smiles for Mommy...

Off she goes with Daddy's trash can full of leaves...she was such a sweet helper!

Love this face...just taking it all in...

And his typical face...all you have to do to get this is say, Cooper!

Our sweet sweet little man!

He didn't take his eyes off Daddy and Anna Lauren...they were very entertaining!

Not sure if she is helping or telling Daddy what to do...

She asked me to take her picture with the rake...I love that she is starting to ask me to take her picture!

Ready...Set...Rock...

And "rock" we did...Matt and I ran the New Orleans Mardi Gras Rock 'n Roll 1/2 marathon on Sunday!

Wow...how good it felt to pin a race number on my shirt and be racing once again! Thankfully I was able to pick my running back up pretty quickly after having Cooper, and I have loved every minute of it...you do not realize how much you enjoy something until it is taken away from you.

We had fantastic weather, the race course was flat and fun, and we got to spend some time with some great friends! We could not have asked for a better race weekend!
We spent Saturday night with David (Matt's best friend from high school) and Mary Catherine. They live on the westbank so we were riding the ferry across the river to get our race packets.

Our chauffeur for the weekend...Tim...one of Matt's best friends from college. He lives in New Orleans and fortunately didn't have anything to do this past weekend so he chauffeured us around from spot to spot.
Not the best quality (phone picture) but this is us waiting on the race to start. We arrived around 6 AM for a 7 AM start...it was pitch black dark and freezing cold!

Again not the best quality (phone picture) but this is us pretty soon after we finished...

Finally found David and my camera...this is David, who so kindly let us spend the night at his house. And...we had a fun time visiting with him and his wife...always good to see friends you don't get to see very often.

David, Matt, and Tim...

The "proud" finishers...way to go us!
