Mark and Anna's Wedding...

My "little" cousin got married last night!  Hard to believe she was my flower girl eleven years ago, and yesterday, she was the bride.  Despite the rain and having to make a last minute decision to move the reception inside, it was the perfect wedding and such a fun reception.  Bill and Carrie were so kind to have the reception at their house, and I cannot think of a more perfect place...rain and all...it was just perfect!

The rain finally stopped and everyone hit the dance floor...

These three kids danced their little hearts out...

Although we don't spend near enough time together, I sure do love my cousins!

And we are all thrilled Mark is now "officially" part of our family...thankful we got to be a part of their special day!

Last Day of K3...

Cooper's school promotes in June...so...Friday was his last day in K3.  His school had an end of the year picnic on Friday, and I had no idea it would be such a "carnival" so I didn't even take my good camera, but I did take a few pictures on my phone of his fun last day.

His class started off in the game room...

Then there were snow cones...

Followed by face painting...

And last but not least...the petting zoo!  He was all smiles until he realized there was no "ride"...he wanted a ride...not to just sit on the saddle.

Braver than me...he touched the cat!  I'm so very scared of a cat!

There was a picnic, but he said he was "bored of this" so we left and went through Chick-fil-A before going back to my office until his Daddy could leave and come get him.  And if nothing else, he did learn to write his name this year!  Think it is safe to say, he is still all about just playing...not so much into the work.

He had a good year, and we are looking forward to K4!

Surprise Trip...

On Friday, May 15th, Matt and the kids went to a birthday party.  When they came home, we were so excited to be surprise them with a trip we had planned back in September.  I cannot believe we kept the surprise, but their reactions made it so worth the wait to tell them even though there were many days we wanted to spill the beans.

Once again, my sweet friend Leah to the rescue...the banner was all her idea.  However, it turned out so so cute...I'm glad she thought of it and made it for me!

Walking into the living room...

Trying to figure it all out...

She got it!

The video is priceless, and we'll enjoy watching it for years to come.  Needless to say, there was lots of squealing and jumping up and down.  And little Cooper didn't really know what to do so he did everything Anna Lauren did...it was so cute and fun!
