Fair Fun...

Anna Lauren and Cooper spent last week in Brookhaven with Nanna and they had SO much fun!!!  They went to VBS in the morning and did a variety of different things in the afternoon.  It was a fun filled week for sure and it had the most perfect ending when they found out the fair was open Friday night, which is one of their favorites for sure!

They were having so much fun in Brookhaven that we just stayed through the weekend.  They also wanted to stay so they could sing their VBS songs in church (at Nanna's church) Sunday morning. Not sure what they do different in Brookhaven, but they tell me Nanna's VBS is more fun than our church.  Doesn't matter to me what church...just love that they think learning about God is fun!!!

Orange Beach Vacation...

We got in the car as quick as we could after Jake's senior recognition service at church, and we were BEACH BOUND!!!

All smiles on Sunday when we arrived at Pop Pop and MeMe's condo at The Wharf...

Anna Lauren wanted to go look around at the stores, but this little fish was all about going to the pool for a few minutes before dinner...

Monday morning and we are all smiles and happy as can be because we are at the beach for the next few days...

We invited this cute little boy and his family (and Nanna) to spend a few days at the beach with us...

These two little boys will play and play and play...

And these big girls have the sweetest friendship...

If all of us could enjoy life as much as Cooper...he lives life to the fullest and makes every day a fun adventure!!!

After lunch, we headed to the beach for the afternoon...

We thought we were going to wake up to rain on Tuesday, but we woke up to another beautiful day...so of course, to the pool we went and there were smiles all around.

Love watching these kids grow up together and the friendship they share with each other...

Wednesday was our last full day so we started the day off on the beach...

And yes, the biggest kid dug a hole big enough for him to get in...

If only we could move to the beach and just "chill" like this all the time...

They were having so.much.fun!!!

After lunch, we all had some ice cream...

And ended the day at the pool...

Our first trip to The Wharf was when Anna Lauren was about 6 months old.  We have taken many trips there since then and couldn't be more thankful for Pop Pop and MeMe always sharing their condo with us.  They actually sold their condo today...we will miss it for sure but will always be thankful for the many vacations we had in their condo and the memories that will last forever.

Senior Recognition Church Service...

Last but not least, we went to Jake's senior recognition service at First Baptist Church in Brookhaven.  No better way to end all his "senior events" than in the church.  My prayer is that he will continue to make his relationship with Jesus Christ the most important thing in his life...

Ugh...bad lighting :(   But...he was introducing himself and telling his future plans...

He received a Bible and a rose to give his mom...

A special morning spent with our family celebrating Jake, but we quickly got in the car afterwards and were BEACH BOUND!!!

Last Baseball Game...

On May 20th, Cooper had his last baseball game of the season. And honestly, it was a sad day for him.  He has always liked baseball but this spring it clicked, and he REALLY fell in love with the game. All he wanted to do was practice and play more games.  But his season came to an end, and now he and Matt play outside almost every single day...some mornings Matt has to throw balls to him before he can leave for work.  I'm telling you...he is all about some baseball these days!

Don't know why but there is something super exciting about getting a snack from the concession stand after the game...

Cooper and Cody went to daycare together, but they are at different schools now.  Cooper really enjoyed having him on his baseball team...just nice to know one of your teammates.

Before we left, he wanted to watch a little "kid pitch" baseball...

And this is what happens when you get in late on Friday night because your cousin graduated high school and then you have an early morning baseball game...it all got the best of him.
