On May 7th, Jake had his Eagle Scout ceremony. Every kid finds different things that they are passionate about and boy scouts happened to be one of Jake's "things". And what an accomplishment to say you are an Eagle Scout!!! We could not be more proud of him, and we were thankful we got to be a part of this special ceremony with him...
Your mom pins your Eagle Scout pin on you...
Then you pin your mom...
And your dad...
They also got to pin someone that had served as a mentor to them...Jake picked one of his high school teachers.
Pretty sure these boys have been together since probably oh...first grade...if not before.
Cooper loves, loves, loves him some Jake!!!
Yes, it felt like we were in Brookhaven more than Jackson during May, but we didn't want to miss anything. Such a special time in Jake's life, and we are oh so proud to call him nephew/cousin!
