New Year's Eve...

I'm telling you, it gets really wild and crazy at the Calvert house on New Year's Eve.  I noticed the living room had gotten really quite...walk in there to check on everyone and this is what I find shortly after 10 PM.

Works for me because I'm just as tired and super excited about going to bed now...we will celebrate 2015 tomorrow!

Hands and Feet...

For Christmas, one of my artistic friends helped me with Anna Lauren's and Cooper's hand prints and foot prints to make 2015 calendars for the grandparents...

This picture got edited and Cooper's 2015 foot got cut off once I got the pictures uploaded into Snapfish, but you get the idea of the cover for the calendar.

I ordered a calendar for myself too...cannot wait to hang it in my office when I go back to work!

Atlanta Christmas Vacation ~ Day 1...

Thanks to Santa, we loaded up on Saturday morning and headed to Atlanta.  We pretty much drove all day and got to Kelly's house, Matt's sister, just in time for dinner at their favorite local Mexican restaurant.  After dinner, we came back to Kelly's and opened a few presents...

Madeline was most excited about her kitty ear warmers and gloves from Aunt Kate...

Spencer showing off his maze globe from Pop Pop and MeMe...

Exciting...more money to spend at American Girl Doll store!

MeMe let the girls help her open her presents.  And like I said, Madeline really liked her kitty ear warmers.  Pretty sure she wore them until time for bed.

MeMe opening her calendar Anna Lauren and Cooper made for her out of their foot prints and hand prints.

It was a full day of traveling, and I think everyone was tired...so... we headed to bed with hopes of Snow Mountain the next morning.

Atlanta Christmas Vacation ~ Day 2...

We had 9 AM tickets for Snow Mountain on Sunday morning...well, it was raining and 60 degrees.  That combination doesn't work well with fake snow...especially the rain.  So we got our tickets refunded and headed to Sky Zone and Tiny Town.

Four little kids ready to jump...

Honestly, I think Matt wanted to go to Sky Zone more than the kids.  They went to one in Kentucky over the summer, and loved it so they were excited to go again.

Everyone took a turn showing off their skills dunking...

Guess he's still got some skills...think he surprised his mom!

After Sky Zone, we headed to Tiny Town...

Cooper wasn't tall enough so he had to drive the smaller cars, but he didn't seem to mind...

The boys convinced Matt to ride the train with them...

Cooper spent a lot of time in the arcade...not paying any money...just playing/thinking he was actually playing.

You had to have a driver license to drive a golf cart.  Matt got one for 20 minutes and gave each kid a turn.  Madeline didn't want her turn, so MeMe rode around with Matt.

Anna Lauren rode these cars over and over...she thought they were great fun!  It really was a fun little place considering it was such a yucky day outside.

And for some unknown reason, Matt and I thought it would be a good idea to take 3 dogs and 4 kids for a walk.  It was a total CIRCUS!  There were giggles, there were tears, there were dogs let go in front of cars, there was yelling, and there was shaking heads saying what are we doing?  But...we all survived!  A fun day was had by all, and the next day was going to be the BIG day!

Atlanta Christmas Vacation ~ Day 3...

Day 3...this was our super big day that we had been waiting on since Christmas morning.  The girls headed to the American Girl Doll store and the boys headed to Legoland.

I will admit...this was a totally "over the top" adventure, but I wouldn't trade this time with Anna Lauren for anything in the world.  So many sweet smiles that I will treasure forever!

We told them the quicker they smiled, the quicker they could go into the store...they smiled real quick, I promise!

Too bad I didn't get the picture of all the moms/daughters, but this is most of our group.  Me, Anna Lauren, Madeline, Kelly, Parker, and Kennedy (Madeline's other cousins)...

Wish I knew what Anna Lauren was telling Madeline...

While Anna Lauren looked around the store with MeMe, I waited in line to make her doll a hair appointment.  I probably waited in line at least an hour...obviously getting their hair done is pretty popular.  When I got to the front of the line, Anna Lauren came and picked out the style she wanted.

She had been looking online...she knew what she wanted but couldn't find it in the book.  However, she found another one she liked just as well.

Showing off her purchases...

We had lunch reservations at 12:30...yes, it was expensive. But...totally worth the experience!

She thought the basket of french fries was so cute, and it was.  I'm telling you, it is just done right...very impressive to me!

Anna Lauren and Madeline at lunch...

You know, you got to have a silly picture!

What she REALLY, REALLY wanted to do all along...have Isabelle's hair styled.

So excited that Isabelle's hair is done and her ears are pierced...

Our "store" adventure has come to an end and now we are headed to check into the hotel...

These girls were beyond excited about spending the night at the hotel...

Checking in their dolls in at the hotel...

As part of the check-in process they had to do a walk down the pink runway...

The bed in the hotel room...I'm telling you...over the top!

As part of the hotel package, she got to keep the bed, bedding, and robe for her doll.

They quickly changed into their swimsuits and were ready for an afternoon swim...

Happy little girls swimming while us mommies enjoyed visiting with each other...some good girl time for sure!

Parker and Anna Lauren headed back to the room to get ready for dinner in their pink robes provided by the hotel.

She dressed her doll in her "fancy" clothes for dinner...

Anna Lauren, MeMe, and Madeline...

As part of the hotel package, they got a late night snack...cookies and milk for them...and...little cookies and milk for their dolls.

And not to leave the boys out, they had a big day too!  They started their day at Johnny Rockets for lunch.

Then played at Legoland...

Matt said this was Cooper's favorite...you built a car and raced other cars...

This is my favorite picture of their day...

The lego set Cooper picked out...Matt said he couldn't get him to smile...he thinks he was scared of the thing behind him.

Back at Aunt Kelly's playing with his new lego set...

And as Cooper said, they had a boy party at Chili's for dinner...

And they ended their super fun day in Uncle Michael's bed watching the lego movie...

Santa did good this year...they both had a super fun girl day and a super fun boy day.  Matt and I had fun too!
