Awesome Soccer Game...

Cooper woke up this morning ready to play soccer...

He got on the field and played all four quarters...never came off the field the entire game, and he showed out!  He played such a good game and was the only one on his team who really "played" the entire game and never got distracted.  Needless to say, he has come a long way from when he played this past Spring.

Ready to start the game...not sure his cap/sunglass obsession, but we let him wear them and he never took them off the entire game.

Ready to go...and yes, when he is really playing the tongue is typically out of his mouth.

His first of many goals...I lost count today...

The after I scored a goal smile...

That "yes, I just scored" look...he thinks he is something!

Celebrating with his teammate, James...

And it was a good thing Cooper was in the mood to play today because 1/2 way through the game I looked up on saw this...and yes, they are sitting in the middle of the field and should be playing.

After last week's silliness, we had talked all week about giving the other team high fives after the game...he quickly gave high fives and ran through the tunnel...so proud of him!

And because he played AND gave high fives, he got to play on the bounce house today...

What a fun day to be this little guy's daddy and mommy.  He did so good that a grandfather from the other team came up to Matt after the game and told him he was really impressed with Cooper, and we for sure had an athlete on our hands.  We sure hope so!

He played his heart out, and we sure enjoyed watching him!  Let's hope it wasn't a one time thing, and he continues to play so well and most importantly, has as much fun as he had today.
