1st Pick Tails (or Doggie Ears)...
Nanna spent the night last night, and she "LOVES" playing with Anna Lauren's hair. Yes, I know, Anna Lauren has very little hair, but her Nanna still tries really hard to make it do something. She was the same way with me...she took much pride in my hair and always had it fixed just right. And yes, I slept on pink sponge rollers every Saturday night so my hair would be "perfect" for Sunday morning church! Anyway, this morning Nanna dressed Anna Lauren for school and sent her in my bathroom to show me her hair...and guess what, Nanna had put pick tails (I called them doggie ears growing up) in her hair and it is was oh so cute! Matt said she still had them in her hair when he dropped her off at school, but they were long gone when he picked her up this afternoon.

Fun at Gatti Town...
Yesterday, Joey, Barbie, and Nanna brought Ashton to Gatti Town so of course we met them there to join in on the fun!
Anna Lauren playing skeet ball...think it kept her attention the longest because she wasn't strong enough to throw the ball all the way so it just kept rolling back to her and she threw and threw...

Survive the Sizzle...
Last night we ran Survive the Sizzle (4 miles) and what great fun we had along with winning a bet. Don't tell me that I along with my buddies (Matt and Jennifer) cannot do it in a certain time because I will do anything in my power to prove you wrong / win the bet. Yes, Eugene (Big Buddy) told me that I could not get all three of us to finish within a certain time, and I had to push hard, but we did it and he now owes me $100...yippee...way to go Matt and Jennifer!
I think the highlight of the night was that Matt's parents came and joined us for the race. They along with Anna Lauren participated in the 2 mile walk. It was great fun to have them do something with us that is such a huge part of our lives. It was their first race, and I think they had a good experience / good time! Thanks so much for racing with us MeMe and Poppie!

Anna Lauren all buckled in her stroller and ready to race...this child is such a trooper...I cannot count the number of miles she has spent in this stroller.

Home Sweet Home...
Yes, I am posting a picture of our house...but...after traveling the past six weekends, we were so excited to be home that I just had to take a picture of our "home sweet home". I kept thinking that I would update everyone on all we have done, but I have allowed myself to go too long without posting so now I am so far behind. And with that being said, we will pick up from here and continue on posting about our happy little family.
The highlight of our weekend was a photo shoot with one of my good friends, Maggie Ingram. Maggie is interested in doing some children's photography and asked me if she could use Anna Lauren as a guinea pig...you know me...I never turn a picture down so we met with Maggie on Saturday. Below is one of our favorites of Anna Lauren...as you can tell, she is growing like a weed and has quickly become a little girl rather than our baby girl. That is ok though because we are enjoying her so much as she provides us with a new challenges every day...she is full of herself to say the least. We love her but without a doubt have our hands full!

This is our last weekend of traveling and then we are staying put for a while. Hopefully I will have some time to get you updated on all we have been doing as well as share some pictures. We are off this weekend to my 10 year class reunion...wow...has it really been 10 years?
