Not sure why, but I didn't make any plans for New Year's Eve. Kate, Mary Martin, and Madeline came to spend the night and once they got here, I felt terrible because I made no special plans and it was New Year's Eve. Will for sure have to do better next year!
Kate doesn't have McAlister's (one of her favorites) in Minnesota so we went to McAlister's for dinner and then came home for a few sparklers, visited a little while, and called it a night. We were so glad Kate and the girls came for the night and we got to visit a little even though there was no excitement planned for the big night!
Mary Martin didn't feel the best so she went to bed and Madeline wasn't a fan of the sparklers. So...it was just Anna Lauren and Cooper.
Madeline did watch from the front porch for a few minutes...
The next morning they "jumped" right into the new year, and I "ran" 18 miles into the new year! I'm training for another full marathon...New Orleans in February.
The best we got...Mary Martin, Cooper, Anna Lauren, and Madeline...
Cute Mary Martin...think she was just tired because she was ready to go once she got up Wednesday morning.
