Life This Week...

Oh...just another week for the Calvert's...

Between work, Matt's football game, and Anna Lauren's practice we couldn't quite get it worked out logistically Monday.  So...Matt said forget it, I'll leave work early and go get the kids/bring them to you at Millsaps.  They NEVER complain about coming to Millsaps and they got to see several of their friends.  Then...as we were leaving they saw Miah and boy oh boy, they were excited!!!  And what is even more exciting is that Miah was on her way to accept the assistant women's basketball coach position so we will get to see more of Miah!!!  We are ready for basketball season...we love watching the the Lady Majors play!

They were STARVING so I got them something to eat on the way to take Anna Lauren to practice.  Cooper literally fell asleep eating his burger.  I had to dig chewed up hamburger out of his mouth because I was afraid he would choke.  He was obviously exhausted because he slept from 5 PM until we woke him up the next morning at 6:30 AM.

Tuesday night Anna Lauren had cheer pictures...and yes, new uniforms this year...they look good!

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my co-workers...we have so much fun!

And maybe just maybe we got a little carried away working on a boss's day project...

Thursday was "pink out" at cheer practice...

I hate dress-up, Anna Lauren pretends to like it, Bree LOVES it!!!

Cooper has begged and begged and begged for a skateboard...well, guess what happens when Nanna comes for the night???  He gets a skateboard while I am at cheer with Anna Lauren.   Can we say SPOILED???  However, I wouldn't trade his smile coming out the door when he heard the garage open for anything in the world.  He was SO excited to show me!!!

Anna Lauren talked her Daddy into having lunch with her on Friday...she got to pick two friends to eat with them.

Was a beautiful morning Saturday to watch a little soccer and then volleyball...

I wanted Anna Lauren to make a cross to have as a reminder of becoming a christian/being baptized...thought it would be something she could always have to remind her of this special time in her life.  So...we spent the afternoon at the mosaic shop...

Holli Grace chose to do a dream catcher...

To top off the week, Sam finished her clinical in Boston.  She spent the past 8 weeks with this group, and she learned so much and had the best experience.

I have thoroughly enjoyed all the pictures she has sent me while in Boston (the last few weeks the trees have been beautiful)...has been fun to walk with her through this journey.  I'm flying out super early Monday morning...meeting her in Baltimore to do the drive to Miami with her.  Praying for hurricane Matthew to go away and for safe travels.

Tomorrow we will go to church and then have some down time before we start all over again...oh wait...kids and Matt off on Monday...they are going to the fair!!!  Fun times for them!
