Family Day...

Since today is Good Friday, daycare was closed, and I was off work. And because Matt has the "best" job, he was able to take the day off to be with me and Anna Lauren. Once we realized we were all going to be off, we decided we would make it a family day...no extended family, no friends, just us! And what a great day just the three of us had together!

We started the day with a run...mommy and daddy were so excited because these days the running stroller is hit or miss with Anna Lauren. But she jumped in without one complaint this morning and enjoyed her waffle and syrup as we ran. Around our house, starting the day with a run always makes for a much better day!

Then...we went to the post office to get mommy and daddy passports...yippee...they are going on a cruise in June (without Anna Lauren)!

After nap time, we headed to the zoo for Anna Lauren's 1st trip to the zoo...she was not so sure about the animals...she is a little skiddish when it comes to animals. However, she loved the snow cone, elephant slide, and choo choo train!
