Happy Fat Tuesday...

Middle of last week we decided to make a "last minute" trip to Gulfport so we could go to the Pass Christian Mardi Gras parade on Sunday. And we are so glad we did because it was so much FUN! Pop Pop and MeMe were kind enough to keep Cooper at home so we could enjoy the parade with Anna Lauren, who LOVED every minute of the parade. We met my brother's family, his in-laws, my mom, and the Italiano family to watch the parade. Anna Lauren and Holli Grace had no idea we were all going together so surprising the girls just added to the fun.

So...Happy Fat Tuesday...hope your Mardi Gras is as fun as ours!

We had to walk about a mile from where we parked...good thing Cooper's stroller was in the trunk!

Two kids in the stroller was not enough so we added one more. Poor Bently...she was not sure what to think...she had this look throughout the entire parade.

We walked to see some of the floats before the parade even started and the people were already giving the girls goodies...

The girls had to walk back to the car because the stroller was full of beads...they didn't seem to mind...are they not the sweetest friends?

And the ending to a perfect day...a few minutes of play time on the beach...and yes, Anna Lauren was soaking wet when we left...BUT...she sure had a fun time!

And our bag of beads or should we say junk...as Matt says, this picture does not do it justice...no lie...we probably have 40 pounds of beads!
