We are taking advantage of this long 4th of July weekend and having a "staycation" to do some fun things around town that we haven't done and want to do. Matt suggested we kick off our staycation with dinner at the family's favorite place followed by a trip to the park. The weather has been a little cooler this week so it's too nice not to do something outside (not to mention Cooper only wants to be outside).
We are looking forward to having a few days to just play together as a family and make some fun memories!
Yep...our favorite place! It's quick, the kids eat it up, and it's cheap (important things in life right now)...
Ready to play at the park...Cooper wasn't interested in having his picture made...
For sure one of his "happy" places...
So excited that the park now has a splash pad...it was the only thing missing from our AWESOME park!
He was trying to tell his Daddy that he could climb to the top of the clock tower...however, he couldn't figure out how he could do that since his Daddy said he wouldn't help. Forget the clock tower, I just LOVE those blue eyes!
He painted his shirt at school...I thought it turned out so cute! Washed it so he can wear it again tomorrow.
Love both of my children to pieces...but if you cannot tell by his face, he is for sure my "sweet" child. Could eat him up!
Tomorrow we are off to the Splash Pad in Brandon and the hot air balloon glow and fireworks tomorrow night. We also plan to play some putt putt golf at some point this weekend...Cooper is going to LOVE that. Everything he touches right now is a golf club.
