Sam's Visit...

Last Thursday night we all loaded up and went to the airport to pick up our Sam, and we could not have been more excited to have her "home" for a long weekend!

Showing just how excited we really were to be going into the airport to get Sam...

Cooper had been jumping up and down all week that is was finally the week for Sam to come...

One super excited little boy...the boys had not seen her since May so they were ready to see her and especially Cooper!

Matt and the kids went to work and school as normal on Friday morning...the kids kids did get to wear their Halloween costumes to school.

Around 10 AM, Sam and I loaded up and headed to Cooper's Halloween party.  His teacher asked me to come up with some games...so that is exactly what I did...

This little soldier got to come outside with us and help setup the games...

They tested out all the games...

Then Cooper convinced Sam he needed to swing while waiting on his friends to come outside and play...

There was ghost bowling, pumpkin tossing, ring tossing, and spider racing...

I want to bring this one to our house...how cute is he?

After playing games outside it was inside for lunch...and you know it, Cooper insisted Sam sit right beside him...

After the party, we checked Cooper out so he could spend a little time with Sam.  Anna Lauren had several days in Boston so this was Cooper's day...she was a big girl about it and understood he deserves some attention too.

We got hair cuts and while I was finishing up, they were taking selfies...

Once we got Anna Lauren, we headed to the bowling alley...love, love, love having all three of them.  Matt had a football game so he missed out on the fun, and we missed him!

Saturday morning we hit up the pumpkin patch...

My heart was so full...I love having all 5 of us together!!!

You know...just a few selfies before leaving for dinner...

Dinner with a view...

This boy...there is no doubt...he has my heart!!!

Matt and I went to this really cool restaurant in Vicksburg back in August for our anniversary.  We loved it and decided then we would go again when Sam came.  Once again, it did not disappoint.

Wouldn't trade these three for anything in the world...even on the days that they drive me absolutely crazy.  Because yes, all three of them can for sure push every button I have from time to time!

Was a perfect night...family, good food, and a view!

There was someone there singing and Cooper decided he needed his autograph...it was so cute!!!

I twisted Sam's arm to go for a run Sunday morning and then we all went to Waffle House for brunch...

Then they painted their pumpkins from the pumpkin patch...

And lastly, gave Sam big hugs before she left.  Now we will anxiously wait for her to come back for two weeks over her Christmas break.

One last stop before the airport...we dropped this little referee off at cheer practice (Halloween dress up).

It's always sad to see Sam leave, but we are thankful for the time we do get to spend with her and that she feels welcome in our home and wants to be a part of our family!!!
