We could not have been more excited to pick Sam up from the airport on December 29th!!! We look forward to any time we get to spend with her, but we were super excited about this visit because it was two full weeks!!!
Nothing makes my momma heart happier than all these smiling faces. I'm not in the picture, but I can assure you I was smiling just as big!!!
After lunch at Newk's (Sam really misses Newk's), we headed home. The kids couldn't wait to give her the Christmas presents Santa left and the ones they had gotten her. Her big gift from Santa (luggage) was shipped to Miami so she could use it to travel during her Christmas break.

Opening her present from Anna Lauren...
Anna Lauren made her a scrapbook from our girls trip to Boston/New York/Maine back in September...
I was so proud of Anna Lauren for taking the time to make it for her, and by Sam's smile, I think she liked it...those are memories we will all three always cherish.
I have worried and worried that Anna Lauren would be jealous of Sam...she shows no signs of jealousy and truly loves her as if she is really her sister. I never had a sister so kind of cool to watch this "sister" bond...
And last but not least, she opened the present Cooper bought her. Pretty sure it comes as no surprise that he bought her a nerf gun.
At this point, all the presents were opened and Christmas was over. Two weeks of just family and fun was ahead of us, and we were all so excited!!!!
