WSA in Southaven...

On January 28th, we headed to Southaven for Anna Lauren to compete in the WSA competition...

At the venue and with her girls...she's happy!!!

Chris and April better watch out...I may switch with them and take Carsyn.  Just kidding...she is precious though!!!

These cheer competitions use to be SO hard/exhausting, and I would constantly have to remind myself she was just a baby with so much pressure on her shoulders.  I was not giving up though...she was going to learn to be appreciative/thankful we allow her to cheer, be respectful, and say ok when our answer to her was no when another parents answer may be yes.  Thankfully, she has matured so much over the past year as far as attitude/behavior, and honestly, it's now fun/enjoyable.  And not to mention I really am so proud of her!!!

Cheer has always been fun for Anna Lauren, but this year has been special for sure...she is finally getting to do it with these girls/her best friends!!!

And they finally take the mat...

I really think I have seen more smiles this year than any other year...she is just enjoying it so much!!!

Oh the facial expressions...they are all singing to their music!!!

You may not can see her face, but we know she is in the middle of this by looking for her feet/brace...

Few bobbles, but they still walked away with zero deductions.  Us parents were convinced they would get 2nd out of the three teams.  Sadly, that wasn't the case, and they walked away with 3rd.  Only motivates them to work harder the next couple of weeks before heading to Atlanta...
