Last night Cooper had his last soccer game of the season, and let me just say, he needs about 6 more games because he is warmed up and ready to go now. Last night he wanted to play the whole time, he ran up and down the field, kicked the ball any chance he had, scored a goal, and most importantly just had a fun time!
You know...nothing wrong with laying in the middle of the field and taking a little break!
After the game, they got trophies and he was so, so proud of his trophy...probably more excited over his trophy than the goal he scored.
He is killing me...I've got to get him out of the "cheese" phase. But cheese and all, he is the sweetest little boy and had himself a fun little soccer season even if he didn't play the first few games and just watched his friends play. If he wants, we'll let him give it a shot again in the fall.
