Cooper PLAYED Soccer...

Cooper had a soccer game Monday night, and he actually PLAYED !  After his game the Monday before that he only watched his friends play soccer, he told Matt that if he would wear shorts/t-shirt and be his coach he would play.  So...Matt wore shorts/t-shirt and acted like his coach and he played not one but two games.  They had a game at 5:30 and 6:30, and he played in both of them and said it was fun.  We were proud of him...much more fun when your child is participating!

Warming up before the game...

On the field with his Daddy/Coach ready to start the first game...

He has come a long way in a of couple weeks...actually kicking the ball in a game!

And he scores...in the wrong goal after he picked up the ball and placed it so he could get it into the goal easier.  But hey, all he knows is that he scored!

The big sisters...

Think he had just as much fun getting the ball out of the goal after someone else scored...

Think it is safe to say he doesn't hate soccer...this is the first picture I have taken this season where I think he is actually having fun.

And he ended the second game with a busted lip, some blood, and not the happiest of faces.  But...after actually playing two games, he said it was fun, and he will play again tomorrow as long as Daddy is coach.  Think Daddy can handle that!  And in case you don't know, Ninja Turtle stickers make you a better soccer player.
