It's Soccer Season...

Soccer season is here and Cooper Calvert could not be more excited.  At first, we were a little disappointed he didn't get on a team with his school friends, but in the end, he got on a GREAT team.  He has the BEST coaches...we couldn't be more pleased and are looking forward to a super fun season!

All smiles as he is warming up for his first game of the season (this was last Saturday)...

Stretching...

Not sure it gets much cuter than this...

Not that Cooper is listening to the pre-game talk but this lady is AMAZING!  And her energy...not sure where it comes from...I should probably find out!

Let's go silver sharks...

He is ready...love seeing him in a "happy" place!

In case you cannot tell, he takes his game seriously...

Yep...that is how you smile when you score a goal!

Coach Marc attempting to give him a high five after scoring a goal...

Kole and KJ stopped by his field to see him...he loves these sweet brothers.

It was a good day on the soccer field for this little dude...3 goals!

If they don't think they are awesome, they have to listen to Coach Kelly 10 seconds, and she will assure them they are AWESOME...she is so good with them!

Their jerseys have arrived, and they are ready for game 2 of the season (this was Thursday night)...

I've got to do better at taking some action shots...I just get so excited watching him play that I put my camera down and see what he is going to do with his determination and fast little feet!

It was HOT Thursday night, and he was soaking wet...so...he gave himself "Marc" hair.  Long story short, he wants crazy hair like a kid at Millsaps.  He has no chance to ever have Marc hair, but he can try.  However, it was another good day at the soccer field, and he walked away with 4 goals.  If he does one thing, it's that he gives it his all!  And what made me even more proud Thursday night is that when he was not playing, he cheered for his teammates.  Love this little kid so much and especially watching him do something he loves!
