Baseball Camp...

Cooper spent this week at baseball camp at Millsaps, which is for sure one of his happy places.  He has been going for a couple years now and loves everything about the camp.

One of the many things I love about Cooper going to camp is that he gets to go to/from work with me...nothing sweeter than those walks across campus to and from camp everyday.

Robbie joined Cooper for camp this summer...

All smiles at the end of day 1...he had a great day of baseball!

And let's be real...baseball all day in the heat is just exhausting. Pretty sure he was asleep within the first five minutes of our drive home.

Walking into day 2 of camp...

He had another great day, but he was SO hot and tired when I picked him up...

And again, asleep within 5 minutes of our drive home...

He was super excited about day 3...his most favorite day because it's SLIDING DAY!!!

I was not surprised to see him first in line when I got to the baseball field to watch sliding day...he was READY!!!

Could not be more thankful that Cooper gets to learn the game of baseball from these two...not only are they great coaches, they are just as great of men off the field.

Pretty sure he NEVER stopped smiling...

This smile assures me he is doing something he loves...I get the same smile from Anna Lauren when she cheers.  Love watching my kids be active and do something that makes them happy!

Last slide and just soaking it all in...what a great experience for this little guy!!!

Despite the heat, he was determined to go "full out" baseball on his last day.  He said he didn't even get hot (doubtful)...ha ha!  He has really developed a love for baseball so we are going to bite the bullet and let him do two sports this fall and play fall baseball, which we have not done before.  He couldn't be more excited!
