My Family Christmas...

Matt and I rotate Thanksgiving and Christmas between our families...this year, we will be with Matt's family for Christmas so we had my family Christmas Saturday in Brookhaven.

Anna Lauren starting the present opening...we try to make the kids open one at a time so we can see what everyone gets. The boys have finally gotten the hang of this...Anna Lauren and Bently...not so much, they just want to open!

Reid excited about a new game...

Ashton got a Visa card so he can go buy what he wants from where he wants...

Jake was excited that he had the biggest present under the tree...

Bently opening her first present...some silver squeeky shoes...they were darling!

Anna Lauren trying out her new backpack that Brad, Paula, Reid, and Jake got her at Disney World...

Have you ever seen three little boys so excited over some Snuggies? They all had Snuggies on their list so Aunt Mandi and Uncle Matt pulled through to make this wishes come true! And the funniest thing is that they loved the socks that came with them...silly boys!

Playing with play doh at Anna Lauren's new table from Nanna and Nanny...

Joey opening his "practical" present from Nanny...the necessities of life!

IPhone ~ Present of the Night...Barbie and Matt both got IPhones...

Paula excited about her two new sweaters...

And Brad excited about his new sweater too...

Matt was thrilled...a USB missle launcher...his poor co-workers!

Our sweet Nanny...she gets excited over anything you buy her!

Saturday Afternoon Fun...

The couple that live next door to my brother and his family were having their family Christmas on Saturday. As a special treat, they had a horse and buggy come to their house to take everyone on a ride around town, and they invited us to join them...

Uncle Joey was working on Saturday, and dropped by in his "big" AT&T truck to see us and let the kids see his truck...Anna Lauren loves to talk about Uncle Jo Jo's big truck...but...she would not get in it Saturday. However, Ashton climbed in and wore his Daddy's hard hat with pride!

Jake preferred Uncle Joey's cold weather gear...

Left to Right...Jake, Ashton, Bently, and Reid. Anna Lauren refused to ride and therefore, missed out on all the fun...they had a blast!

Attempting to take a family photo...Anna Lauren wasn't interested...

And you can look at Anna Lauren's face and tell what she thought about the horse and buggy...

Reid / Roberson Christmas...

Friday night, we had our Reid / Roberson Christmas, which is my mom's side of the family. It is always a fun get together...a little wild with all the kiddos, but still lots of fun!

My cousin, Emily, brought cookies and decorations for the kids to make reindeer cookies...as you can tell by Anna Lauren's face, she loved it!

Anna Lauren and Emily working on her cookie to make sure it is "just right"...

Putting the finishing touch on her rudolph cookie...

John enjoying his cookie...it was yummy!

Anna Lauren opening her present from Drew...a play doh kitchen!

The two babies of the family (Bently and Mallory) opening a present together...they were loving all the boxes, paper, and ribbon...

And the "attempt" to take a pictuer of 10 kids...hmm...think there is only 9 as Drew refused. Needless to say, no such luck getting a decent picture...I think you can at least see 9 heads / maybe not faces!

And taking a picture of 5 kids is not an easier...

Anna Lauren and Anna playing with her new kitchen...she was loving her some Anna Friday night!

The Girls ~ Emily, Paula, Mandi, Carrie, Anna, and Barbie...

Matt and Bill ~ Matt loves Bill because he is the doctor that buys all the fun toys Matt LOVES! They dissappared for a while...come to find out, Bill had just gotten his new computer that allows him to do his work (radiology) from home...

The Boys ~ Joey, Matt, Bill, and Brad...

Oh wait...we forgot a boy...Joey, Matt, Bill, Stevie, and Brad...

Anna Lauren's Christmas Program...

This past Wednesday, Anna Lauren had her Christmas Program at school. She talked about her program for several weeks and was so excited the day to perform had finally come. The night before, she wanted to pick our her "special" outfit, and we didn't have one complaint getting ready Wednesday morning...she knew she looked cute and was so proud of herself!

I wanted to take pictures so I was sitting on the floor in the very front when she walked in...she smiled real big and then fell on her back and stuck her "bright" silver shoes straight up in the air. Then...she sat up and sat there looking around like a big girl. Never did she sing one word of the three songs...but she looked cute and behaved!

All dressed up and ready for her program...

Her new "cheese" smile...

Top Right ~ Sitting on the stage like a big girl with all her friends...

Poor Carson (bottom right), she cried through the whole thing...

Trip to See Santa...

Week before last, we went to dinner at Wendy's (choices are limited when you have 4 toddlers) and to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa with our friends the Williams and the Wrights. Although none of the kids were interested in sitting in Santa's lap, they did give him some attention and the night was fun for all! We love making Christmas memories with our sweet friends!

After dinner, Anna Lauren got to open an "early" Christmas present in the car from Ady (Adam) and Jack Jack (Jack)...

She LOVED her new namies (pajamas) and snowman book. We had to put her new namies on as soon as we got back in the car from seeing Santa...

This picture is funny to me...she is watching Dora and holding on to her new namies and book...got to love that face!

Anna Lauren was fascinated by a race track they had set up for the kids to play with...for some reason, I didn't get any pictures of Ann Hardie, but you can see her in the background of this picture...she is just precious!

This is hilarious...Katie and I were trying so hard to get these 4 kiddos to sit in Santa's lap...no such luck! However, they paid him some attention...just not going to sit in his lap!

Not sure what Anna Lauren was doing, but I love this picture of her...this is what she has been like this Christmas season...just in awe of it all!

Anna Lauren trying to be sneaky...she would get a candy cane out of Santa's basket and take off...

Anna Lauren found what someone could buy her for Christmas...a PINK four wheeler...

What about if I sit beside Santa and take my picture? The week we were going to see Santa, she told me all week that she was going to sit on the floor beside him, guess she was telling the truth...

And the longer we stayed, the more she liked Santa...he got many high fives!
And then she decided she really liked Santa when she realized he would be the one bringing that bike she wants so bad...she decided she better tell him that she wanted a bike, some rain boots, and a purse...

Adam finally decided he better tell Santa what he wanted too...

And the time came for little boys and girls to go home so they had to tell Santa bye bye...
