Young 3s at St. Paul Learning Center...
At St. Paul, they promote in May so this cute little man started a new class today...he is in Ms. Rachel's young 3 class. He was such a big boy when I dropped him off this morning...as long as there is KJ and Coop Coop (the other Cooper in his class), he is just FINE! He was all smiles this afternoon and seemed to have a super fun day. We have been so, so pleased with St. Paul...we waited and waited and waited for him a spot, but it was worth the wait for sure!
Cooper's (or should we say Mommy's) first homework assignment that we had to give his new teacher today...
Back to Ridgecrest Weekday...
Yesterday this little cheerleader posing girl went back to Ridgecrest Weekday for the summer. She is super excited about being at Ridgecrest this summer because she is with all the little girls she went to daycare with birth through 4 year old preschool...and most importantly her best friend, Holli Grace! Her summer calendar is jam packed with fun activities, and I know she and her friends are going to have the best time!
And although the kids are at two different places again and it will be somewhat logistically challenging, I'm so thankful she is happy and I can leave her with a smile on her face everyday. And...it is only 8 weeks...we can do anything for 8 weeks!

Memorial Day Fun...
The little man has been at Nanna's since Friday...so glad he is getting to spend some time in Brookhaven and be spoiled rotten, but I am missing him and ready to see him tomorrow night. However, I am so thankful that my mom has been able to help us with Anna Lauren and Cooper in between school and starting summer daycare. Anna Lauren starts tomorrow and Cooper starts Wednesday...whew...kind of been a juggling act this past week!
Today we had a "big girl" day and Anna Lauren got to invite Ava to come swim/play for most of the day. I really enjoyed our time at the pool because I got to relax in a chair...that never happens because someone chases Cooper and someone plays with Anna Lauren.
Here are a few pictures from today...and yes, you know...they are cheerleaders and they "stunt and flip" all the time!
Last Day of Kindergarten...
First day of kindergarten (left) and last day of kindergarten (right)...she matured ALOT, but I don't think she looks much different.
Just a few pictures before her last day of kindergarten...
All smiles in the car rider line...she jumped out of the car like a champ every morning. I can remember just one morning I sent a text to her teacher to make sure she was ok because she was a little sad in the car rider line. But not one morning did I have to "push" her out of the car.
And on the last day of school, we got her class picture...such a sweet group of kids!

Can We Say ZEBRA?
About a month ago, Anna Lauren asked me if she could make the upstairs bathroom "her" bathroom. I asked what she meant and she said she wanted to decorate it in zebra and hot pink. I told her she could do that once she started using the bathroom rather than our bathroom. Well, for the past two weeks she has slept in her room, woke up to her alarm, gone in "her" bathroom and put on her clothes, fixed her hair (the short hair is easier), and brushed her teeth. She has then fixed herself something for breakfast and played quietly on the IPad until time to go to school. You mommas trying to get out the door by 7 AM know this is a HUGE help in the mornings.
So...this weekend she got some zebra and hot pink stuff for her bathroom. We still need a few more things, but we will get it slowly but surely. Now...if she doesn't continue cooperating in the morning, this zebra stuff is going to find itself in a box in the attic.
And yes, she and Cooper share this bathroom. Poor Cooper...but...I decided to let her do it now before he realizes that he is sharing a "girl" bathroom. Think we have a while as he walked to his closet today and asked to put on a dress, then rode outside in a pink Barbie jeep, and pink goggles. Lord, bless our little man who will hopefully turn out ok! Ha Ha!
Now the poor grandparents that use this bathroom when they visit...all I can say is bring your sunglasses...it's wild and bright!
I put everything in "her" bathroom while Matt took them swimming this afternoon...she was so excited when she returned to a ZEBRA bathroom!
The cup and soap dispenser were big deal to her...she REALLY wants the zebra garbage can too...
Kindergarten Beach Day...
Friday we celebrated the end of kindergarten with "Beach Day" at Highland Bluff Elementary. This year I had my first experience at being room mom, and I must say, I enjoyed getting to help Anna Lauren's teachers and be involved in all the "special" activities throughout the year. My original thought for beach day was to fix each child their lunch in a sand bucket, but after the teacher and I talked, we decided a candy bar instead because the kids wanted pizza for lunch (surprise).
Our "rolling" candy bar...
Since it was beach day, I couldn't resist the sand...
I forgot to take a picture of all the bags once they were done, but they filled a brown bag with candy and we stapled them with cute tent cards...from beach balls to palm trees...the tent cards were all different.
One mom went all out on the "beach" dessert...
You've read about "Daniel" before...I'm telling you, every time I looked up Friday he was beside Anna Lauren. Whew...glad we three days away from summer. Maybe he'll forget about her this summer!
And the best part of the day...the inflatable water slides!
This is the "it's cold" face...the water was freezing, but they still had so much fun!
As you can see, McCarley was not having her picture made Friday...
One of her many faces...
For some reason, her eyes were shut in all her sliding pictures...
Popsicle time!
Of course Daniel found the mud! Will hold onto this one for his senior year of high school!
And we ended the day with a fun happy from Anna Lauren's teachers...

Mother's Day...
And because of these two little ones, I am a mother! Let's just be honest, it's a hard job being "mommy", but I wouldn't trade it for the world! I enjoy making memories with them not just today but everyday!
As if you cannot tell, Cooper is REALLY into his bike right now...only way we got him to take a picture this morning.

Flowood Family Festival...
Tonight we went with the Bounds family to the Flowood Family Festival. It was a super fun night of perfect weather, inflatables, tatoos, face painting, sno cones, petting zoo, and pony rides!
