Last Saturday, Matt and I celebrated our 11th anniversary! Nanna gave us a 24 hour getaway so we spent the night at a hotel in town. We have done that before, and we love it...just a time to stop, have an adult conversation, eat out without the kids, and sleep (A LOT).
Here we are 11 years later refueled and headed back home. I couldn't imagine being on this journey with anyone else, and I am looking forward to many more years together!
Nanna and the kids actually decided they needed an "anniversary trip" too...they stayed at another hotel in town and had the best time. They swam in the indoor pool and chilled a good bit too...think we were all tired and needed some down time.
