Reid's Graduation...

We had a big week celebrating Reid...senior recognition at church, senior dinner and recital, and then his graduation.  We were so glad to be able to attend all of his events and could not be any more proud of him and all he has accomplished.

Kind of hard to believe it will be Jake's turn next year...

Thankful for good weather so the graduation could be outside...

I must say...it kind of gave me chills to watch this kid lead his entire class around the football field.  Yes, he is crazy smart, but he also worked really hard...hard work pays off, and he was the valedictorian of his class!

Being introduced before he gives his valedictorian speech...

He had a little trouble getting the microphone adjusted...

The speech we all anxiously waited to hear...he had not shared it with any of us (even his parents)...

One night I am sleeping on the hospital floor waiting for this kid to arrive and it seems like the next night he is graduating from high school...

This happened so fast...I pretty much missed the hat toss...

Brad and Paula should be SO proud...they have two incredible boys and one just happens to be on his way to college for free.  Again, hard work pays off!

Love these two brothers and nephews of ours...

Crazy thing is that Nanna graduated from Brookhaven High School too...50 years ago that is!

Barbie had to miss graduation...her school's graduation was the same night.  She joined us at Nanna's afterwards though...

Best of friends...

Proud to call this graduate ours!!!

After graduation we went to Nanna's for a little party...we switched gears real fast and moved on to Mississippi State!

Opening a few presents...Nanna got him a really nice watch...

This little guy had sat through church, dinner, and recital...so...we got him a babysitter for graduation.  He happily stayed at Nanna's and played and then took a picture with Reid afterwards.

What a special week with family celebrating Reid!
