Considering our next door neighbors and across the street neighbors each just had $10,000 of foundation work done, Matt and I were convinced we also had foundation issues by the looks of our back patio. Thankfully, we got much better news...our foundation is "ok" for now. The cracks in our patio were caused by roots from a nearby tree, which just happened to be our shade...but o'well...tree had to go.

Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but I'm pretty sure it was probably at least a 6 inch difference...someone was going to trip and fall.
You could have hidden treasures in these cracks...
Demolition day...
We did have to have a little foundation work done...this is very expensive "mud" that was pumped under the house to hopefully prevent any further foundation issues.
And our new smooth/crack free patio...
Obviously our yard needs lots of attention this summer after having two trees cut and the new patio. It is for sure going to be our summer project...hopefully by the end of the summer there is less dirt/mud and more grass.
