Last Friday (Good Friday), we celebrated Matt's 39th birthday! We skipped our normal donuts for breakfast tradition because Matt is really trying hard to make healthier choices so he asked we skip that, which made me most proud of him. Not so sure I can be that disciplined. He went on to work while the kids and I had the day off...we however, picked him up from work and took him to Moe's for lunch.
I had already ordered the cake before he requested healthier birthday food...so...we had the table decorated and surprised him when he got home from work.
We had a couple presents for him, and he had a stack of cards family had sent in the mail.
Someone was excited about his gift because she can use it too...
Think it is safe to say you know you are officially old when you want a scale for your birthday...
And to end the day of celebrating Matt, we enjoyed dinner on the patio at Outback. I'm so thankful he is mine, and we get to celebrate all the special days together!!!
