1st Cheer Competition...

Anna Lauren started tumble and cheer in May and Saturday all her hard work paid off as she got to go to her very first cheer competition.  They were only an exhibition squad, but they think they "competed" and won a first place trophy.  She LOVED every minute of the competition, and I must say, it was pretty fun for me too!  Matt and I both really enjoy watching her do something that she loves so much...

All ready for her pep rally...on Friday night, they had a pep rally at the gym and every squad did their routine.  I think it was just as much fun as the competition...watching the big girls is just amazing...their tumbling is unbelievable!

Dressed and ready for her very first cheer competition...

What you will do for your children...even Mommy wore a "skull" shirt to support the Outlaws.  I still don't know why they have to be skulls and crossbones...my one complaint about the the Outlaws.

Some VERY excited little girls...

Anna Lauren and Ava...

Coach Jake...can you tell they LOVE him?  He has been AWESOME with these little girls!

Make-up is not required at Anna Lauren's age so our girls wore very little...but...one mom added some blue to their eyes, and they thought they were something.

Getting instructions from Coach Jake before warm-up time...

Finally...on the stage ready to perform!

Probably one of my favorite pictures of the day...I think this pictures screams she LOVES it!

With their "1st Place" trophy...

Now back to practice...we'll get to do this again in Biloxi in March!
