If you know anything at all about cheerleading, you know the University of Kentucky is the "best of the best". When I knew we were all going, I e-mailed the cheer coach to see if by any chance they would be practicing the week we were there. A month later and the week before we were leaving, he responded and said they were going to be practicing 2 of the days we were there and invited us to practice. Practice was Sunday morning, and I didn't have anything until Sunday afternoon...so...we all got to go watch practice Sunday morning. Anna Lauren was on cloud 9, and honestly, we all enjoyed it...pretty impressive athletes to say the least. And...so, so kind to us and the kids!

Cooper quickly picked out his favorite cheerleader, Conner.
One practice wasn't enough...after I did my check-in/registration for CBMI, we went back for their 2nd practice of the day Sunday. Anna Lauren wanted to go back and Cooper wanted to go see Conner. They have a blue and white squad...this is both squads. And for some reason, Cooper didn't want to be in the picture.
However, he did take a picture with Conner...
Will definitely see if they are in town/practicing when we go back next year...was so fun watching them! And actually, the white squad is going to one of the same competitions Anna Lauren will be competing in this year so maybe we can see them again in February.
