I had class again from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Tuesday. Matt and the kids started pretty early and went to Keenland to watch the jockeys practice, Kid's Place (an indoor playground), and lunch at Matt's favorite, Moe's.
The weather was unbelievable all week...low in the 50s and high in the 80s. This particular morning was the coldest...50 degrees. Matt had a few pools picked out for them to swim...but...it was too cold all week. They swam in the indoor pool at the hotel but none outside. It was really like our March here...so nice!
After watching the horses, they were ready to play at Kid's Place...
And obviously, it was a super fun but tiring morning...Cooper was out.
And a few minutes later, Anna Lauren was out...
We had heard this drive in was a cool place to eat so we went for dinner Tuesday night. When we pulled in, Anna Lauren said, "where have ya'll brought me"...
When she realized she could have chili/cheese fries for dinner, she was all about it...
Cooper LOVED that his dinner was in a car...
It was a fun experience and good fast food, but I'm not sure it would be a place we have to visit every year.
