Sam's Spring Break...

Sam's spring break was the same week as ours, and she chose to spend her week in Haiti on a mission trip.  She took a leap of faith and stepped outside of her comfort zone.  She was excited, she was scared, she was nervous...all those typical emotions one would go through preparing to do something like this.  But once she got there, she found a "peace" and knew she was doing exactly what she needed to be doing and had an incredible week.

Sam and I talk every single day...one of the things I enjoy most about Sam is just being able to be a part of her life and this journey she is on right now.  We thought we would get to talk via text maybe twice the week she was gone.  Thankfully, I did hear from her more than twice and these are the pictures she sent me while she was in Haiti.

Was neat to be able to see where she was/what she was seeing...and...share the pictures with Anna Lauren.  Anna Lauren has never really seen poverty so this was a little eye opening to her.

I am so proud of this child and am loving every minute of watching God work in her life!
