Girls Trip ~ Day 2...

Friday morning we got up and headed into the city...Sam is actually staying in a little town, Haverhill, outside the city.

The first thing Anna Lauren spotted was the swan boat rides...so of course, we did it with her.  And honestly, it is so pretty so it was nice to chill on the boat for a few minutes and just take in the view.

My heart was overflowing...I was loving every single minute of getting to be with these two girls of mine!!!

Next we showed Anna Lauren The Freedom Trail...

Not going to lie and say we walked The Freedom Trail...but...we do have a picture of all our feet on the trail...that counts for something, right?

This was so interesting to me...and it may be worth the money to pay for these types of pews when you are "training" small children to sit through church.  They could at least sit on the floor where no one could see them, right?

Just hanging out watching a street performance...

We kind of snacked our way through this day...

The only carousel with no horses...

Everyone told Sam this was the best...we had to try a cannoli from Modern Pastry.  Well, we were not impressed...but...we tried it!

Of all the "big" cities I have been, Boston is for sure my favorite!

Since Modern Pastry was a bit disappointing, we felt the need to try Georgetown Cupcake...it did NOT disappoint!

Just taking a break and enjoying a cupcake...

From time to time, I would stop and take a picture just because I loved the view...

The Boston Library, which is the first library to lend books...

At this point, they were done...ha ha!!!  So...we went to a fun burger place (realized we were all STARVING), had a yummy dinner, and then we had the energy to walk to the car and head home to rest before another big day.
