Christmas in Gulfport...

After a fun Christmas morning at home, we loaded up and headed to Gulfport for a couple days before our Waco Christmas vacation...

MeMe had lunch ready when we arrived, but the kids REALLY wanted to open presents first so we let them.  And yes, Cooper wore his new soccer cleats to Gulfport...ha ha!

He was so excited Aunt Kelly got him the Dude Perfect hat he had been wanting...

We did something a little different for Pop Pop and MeMe this year.  We bought them large stockings and filled them with several happies rather than one big present.

Cooper was all about opening Pop Pop's happies for him...

She finally got the Polaroid camera she has wanted for several years...

After lunch, we went to visit Paw Paw and Robbie...

4 generations of Calverts...

Golf cart shenanigans because you cannot go to Pop Pop and MeMe's without going on a golf cart ride or two or hundred...the kids love it!!!

And how is this kid get old enough to drive a golf cart???

Fun times and too many giggles to count before getting too cold and having to go inside...

Just as my shirt says...our Christmas truly was merry and bright!!!

Breakfast food for dinner, snuggled up in a blanket, and little man was done...he had soaked in every bit of Christmas and was just exhausted!!!

The week before Christmas I had a sinus infection and Matt had the flu, which meant we didn't run for a week.  The day after Christmas, we were finally well enough to head out for run.

We love a morning run on the beach...

Was a cold but pretty morning for a run, and we were thankful to be back training for our 1/2 marathon again...

That afternoon we took the kids (and Matt) ice skating...

While I cannot just do anything athletic, this man can!!!  And our kids are so lucky that they have a dad that jumps in and does anything and everything with them.  And 99% of the time has this big smile on his face!!!

I say this all the time, but I REALLY cannot imagine doing life with anyone else!!!

This picture sums these two up perfectly!!!

After a super fun afternoon ice skating and some pizza for dinner, we headed out to Harbor Lights...

We had watched the Hallmark Christmas movie that was filmed here so it was even more fun to see it in real life...

Not sure why we don't have a picture of Cooper, but they both jumped...

Anna Lauren chose a funnel cake over a ride...

Love this girl of mine and her love for travel, adventure, and most importantly fun times with her family.

Cooper was pouting because we wouldn't buy him a souvenir...little boy problems (insert eye roll)...

He's still trying to pout/not smile...I mean seriously, Cooper!!!

We made it around to these trees last, and honestly, we should have started there and would probably have just stayed there.  The light show to the music was phenomenal...we loved it!!!

Once we had all the cold we could stand, we headed back to Matt's parents for one last night before heading to Waco the next morning.
