Christmas Morning...

Twas the night before Christmas...

During fall baseball Cooper decided he really wanted a new bat, but other than that, he didn't really ask Santa for anything.

Along with the bat and some balls for batting practice, he got a garmin vivofit and a robe....

Anna Lauren was very specific and easy...she wanted Vera Bradley backpack, lunchbox, Kendra Scott necklace, and a hair dryer.

She was actually surprised over the necklace because I told her several times I just didn't know if she was old enough for one...

The moment when the Christmas lights are twinkling, you look one more time and think your kids will be excited, and then you pat yourself on the back and climb into bed exhausted.

They really got up when the alarm went off at 5:20, used the bathroom, and were standing in our room ready to go at 5:27.

Checking out what Santa left...

He was so proud that his watch has his name, and I'm pretty sure he told us how many steps he had every 5 minutes the first couple of days.

Anna Lauren wants to open everything immediately.  She even switched over her backpacks...

Mommy and Daddy opened a few presents, and this little boy never left my side...he's the sweetest!!!

We both got robes, and surprisingly, he was upset his wasn't monogrammed.  Guess what...it is now!!!

Helping Daddy open his one "big" present...

We thought it was time for Daddy to finally have some really good sunglasses.  Sadly, they were a little small for his face.  But we were able to exchange them for some different ones...

A super early but fun Christmas morning...

Not long after the excitement was over, we found this one sound asleep in his chair.  Christmas is fun but just exhausting for the parents...
